after riding a motorcycle for 5 hours. to find this great guy who was not only friendly but very helpful. my friends battery on his bike went dead and "butch" let him take his "jump pack" with him while we rode saturday. as well as offered the use of a battery tester to check if the battery was good or not. this guy built houses, out of straw bails!!!.. what? ask him about it..great idea. the house was great. window unit ac worked great for each room as the 4th of september 2026 to the 7th was really HOT!.. i packed a full kit,sleeping bag ,pillow etc.. i could have left it all home. just needed a change of clothes ,tooth brush and food money. even if i wanted to buy grocery's, there was plenty of utensils for cooking and eating. just clean up after your selves. close to shawnee national park and several state parks. well worth the money and the trip.....thanks butch
no complaints.. im old , i been and done more then what most of you other folks will only see in books or in movies. i respect what a person can build for themselves. and i am not jealous of what others have. this guy is old.. and i respect his accomplishments

Great location, very clean, when there was an issue with the kitchen sink owner was very responsive in fixing it right away
Our only complaint was the mattress on the bed was not really comfortable, nor were the futons used as a couch if you were sitting on them for a period of time
