About this cottage rental
Nestled in Hot Springs, this lovely cottage for $150 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. NOTE: Lake level is lowered early Nov and back to normal early March around Lake Hamilton. Allows maintenance on boatslips, docks, etc. NO fishing from deck or bank There is still a beautiful view of lake further away from shore line. Beautiful cottage on Lake Hamilton - located in the popular Hwy 7/Central Ave south area, in the hub of fun things to do. Open concept floor plan. STUDIO STYLE which means No walls dividing living, dining, kitchen and sleeping area. The bathroom is the only private room. You will need to rent a 2 bdrm if you are wanting privacy. There are 3 other cottages on the grounds. If you are wanting complete isolation this cottage will not work for you. You might see other people during your visit from the other 3 cottages on the common grounds or see lawn workers. If you need a BIG shower this will not work for you. The shower is SMALL. This is a standard size shower frame from the manufacture. Please rent another unit if you need a big shower. The unique feature of this property is having the large deck extending over the lake with a private boat-slip for this cottage located underneath the deck. Arkansas law requires marinas, boat-slips to post an Electrical Shock Warning, Swim at own risk sign on the boat-slip. There is a private boat-slip under cottage deck for guest use. Boat rentals only 2 minutes away Hot Springs Marina - There is a fee to launch a boat. approx $25 No parking boat trailers there. You can park trailer beside the cottage. Many indoor/outdoor activities in this location. Many fine dining restaurants your whole family will enjoy. Magic Springs amusement park, go-carts, miniature golf, Hot Springs mall. Oaklawn race track and Casino located a few minutes from cottage, Garvan Woodland Gardens are beautiful year round... After visiting the race track treat yourself at one of the many spas Hot Springs has to offer. During the summer fish off the deck or enjoy the day on the lake. Fishing license can be purchased at Wal-Mart 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day spectacular fireworks display launched nearby Enjoy watching the Canadian geese and mallards make their daily rounds around Lake Hamilton Local restaurants few minutes away...Drive your boat up for convenience Luna Bella, The Back Porch Grill - Cajun Boilers, 501 Prime, Smokin in Style BBQ, Jose’s Mexican on Central Ave nearest one to cottage. I booked this property for a short overnight stay on a long road trip. It's two rooms -- the bathroom/laundry, and then the rest is an open studio space with kitchen, bed, couch, chair, daybed, and a few tables. Floor-to-ceiling windows give neat views of the lovely property. As others have noted, the lake is sometimes quite low (or no water at all in areas). Deck is huge and secure (good for dogs). Yard is not fenced and it is shared with other cottages on the property. There is a free-roaming large dog across the way, and it was exploring the dry lake area. Not a problem with my dogs, but just beware if you let your dog out! Overall, an amazing, comfortable location, just an easy drive to the national park. I would stay here again.

We were traveling to Texas from the Midwest to visit family for Christmas. It’s a 16 hour drive but this little cottage in Arkansas was the perfect place to rest and relax before Christmas merriment! It was so charming: the lake, the deck, accommodations-everything! Our host was very responsive and accommodating. We are definitely returning when we can!

Everything was perfect, location on the lake and the location to town. The only complaint would be the shower, very small and about a minute of hot hot water. My husband is 6'4 and I am 5'6. So we had to move the shower head and the water shot straight on the ceiling. We had to put the shower head back together. And I couldn't shave my legs the whole time I was there. Cold water, made it impossible.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. It had everything we needed, and it was very clean. Even though the lake's water level had dropped for maintenance, the view was still beautiful. We would love to come back!

Pictures don't do cottage justice. It's extremely clean & perfectly taken care of. Decorated for holidays which gives it a warm welcoming feeling. Everything inside is of excellent quality...from the soaps to the cooking supplies. I bring my on skillet because most are in bad condition but her pans were great. The bed was comfortable & sheets so soft. Love that our 4 legged family member was allowed to join us. Watch out for acorns falling this time of year. Its a game of doge ball. Lol
Sitting on the large deck watching Canadian geese was fun. Overall I would highly recommend. Definitely one of the places we've stayed.

Perfect for 2 adults or 2 with 1 or 2 children. Well outfitted and roomy studio layout, cute, clean and cosy. Very nice uncovered, elevated deck with a good, safe space to dock our 22’ boat during our stay. Cottage is located in an attraction location. Hot Springs is a unique and fun town to visit. A great cottage and having the option to bring our boat to enjoy Lake Hamilton made this an A+ spot.

The cottage was exactly as described and the photos don't really do it justice. The view off the deck is truly wonderful!! Marie is a very gracious and thoughtful host. My husband and I are looking forward to staying here again soon.

First of all know that it doesn’t state in the listing, but they have a doorbell camera and they watch every thing you do going in and out of the property. Several family members and myself rented multiple cottages on the property in order to enjoy the holiday weekend. This cottage is the cottage with the water access and deck over the water. On Saturday, we got some BBQ and the families on site came to this cottage to all eat together on the patio. My parents came over and my siblings. Now take it, we were not playing any music, not partying, causing no problems at all. We are a very calm group. The owners showed up to the property to tell everyone they had to leave. That we had too many vehicles,we only had two vehicles in our allotted spots and the other families were parked in their allotted spots. The other cottages are owned by different people. The male owner showed up with a GUN on his hip and was very ugly trying to intimidate us. The lunch was dispersed immediately and any future get togethers had to be done off site or at restaurants after we had already bought food for the weekend. I had an aunt and uncle that drove down from Missouri to see us and had only been there about 30 minutes when forced to leave. So basically we should have saved our money and stayed home instead of trying to enjoy the lake. We didn’t even bring the boat to use because we just wanted to chill and visit. Our family paid a lot of money between the cottages and we’re very disappointed.

The cottage was beautiful, comfy, spotlessly clean, spacious and quiet. The location overlooking Lake Hamilton was convenient to historic Hot Springs, some great restaurants and lovely scenery. When we could tear ourselves away from the cottage deck, we were able to enjoy all Hot Springs had to offer. Highly recommend this delightful cottage expertly hosted by Maria.
