It was a beautiful farm stay with animals and good food. There was lots of space on the property to enjoy the outdoors. Our room was spacious and A.C. worked great. The Balda area is idyllic and quiet.
Rocky road to get to the property, so it could be difficult to access with a sedan.

The owner advised against taking the standard short and expensive Martvili canyon tour and took us in stead for a half day excursion around the area in his car, visiting several waterfalls, canyons and hotsprings. One of the highlights of our trip to Georgia!
They can also provide breakfast and dinner on site, and horseback tours. We liked swimming in the nearby river at 5 min walk. Our kids loved the place too.
The family room that we had did not have AC like some of the other rooms. For hot summer nights that would be a nice upgrade.

Georgian hospitality at its best! We really enjoyed our stay with Aza, Giorgi and the rest of the family in this peaceful setting at the foot of the mountains. The food was from the garden, freshly homemade and absolutely delicious!!
We did a horse tour with Giorgi and it was the most fun we had in Georgia! We truly felt as part of the family and will come back with our children.

The room was modern and well designrd. The bathroom particularly was comfortable and pleasant.
They prepared for us a very tasty dinner.
I cannot say much more because it was one night stay, we came late, it was raining hard, and we left early. Still my impression was that the place was suitable for relaxation. They were actually in the process of buiding a new two bedroom unit appropriate for the stay of families with children.
The place is close to the beautiful Kaghu waterfall and the nearby monastery, as well as to the Martivili Canyon.
The street leading to the place is not paved, which made it a bit hard to locate the place. But this is not uncommon in Georgia.
