Nestled in Schroon Lake, this lovely chalet for $213 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This rental is one of our three houses within walking distance of Schroon Lake Hamlet. Snowmobile trails close by, 25 minutes from Gore Mountain, walk out on the lake for ice fishing!!! Enjoy this family retreat year around. This Chalet is one of THREE rentals on the property. The Chalet sleeps 6. A short walk to stores, churches, restaurants and the skiing at the Town run sledding/skiing slopes on the Golf Course is just around the corner. Toasty warm Chalet after a fun winter's day.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The location was perfect for our family: access to the water (perfect depths for our kids to play), and proximity to the town within walking distance. We also really appreciated the owners' kindness and hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful week!

The little chalet on Schroon was very nice for a small party. My wife and I had a great time there (early June); enjoyed chatting with our neighbors who were renting the larger house adjacent to us. The new boat dock is really stable and secure- a big plus if you have a boat with you. The owners are very responsive and top of things. Not a fancy place - but comfortable and reasonable. ( no signs of mice which is a nice thing for a lake dwelling) And - the custom woodworking in the upper loft is fabulous; as is the picture window system looking out on the lake.

My wife lets me pick a destination each year for our annual Fathers Day fishing trip. Outstanding accommadations, perfect for fishing. Close to NYS boat launch. WILL be returning next year, or before, if the hosts will have us.

This was our 3rd stay at the chalet. It’s exactly what we need, cozy yet plenty of room with comfortable beds and everything you need. Allowing dogs is huge for us. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Super cute location right in the heart of Schroon Lake. Rustic living with a fireplace, comfy couch and nice king bed. Straight forward communication with the host along with quick responses. We definitely want to come back and stay again!

The Chalet was great! Exactly as pictured online. We had access to the dock and there was plenty of parking for the boat trailer and vehicle. The location on the lake was amazing!

I rented the chalet for 3 weeks. The view is fantastic! House had everything I needed, down to the utensils. The beds are comfortable and pillows felt new. Owners take great pride in keeping up maintaining the properties. Will definitely be back again.

Nice property within walking distance to the town. Using “970 route 9” in your GPS turn by turn program will get you to the correct driveway. The driveway serves 4 houses, including this rental. One note, the stairs to the loft are circular and tight. if you are not sure footed, I would recommend renting either the main house or the front house instead. The twin beds will sleep two adults.

To start our original rental decided to go long-term which led us to this property which was not only better in quality of rental but also for location. The house is very close to town and very convenient to everything you want to get to including trails, shops and the lake! Beautiful views friendly neighbors / renters And excellent communication with owners. It was only the two of us plus our furry companion who enjoyed his stay very much. Quaint house and more then enough room for us. Looking forward to seeing you in the future thanks so much! -Beth

The chalet was perfect for us. It has an amazing view of the lake and was extremely clean. It is within easy walking distance to the town and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again or at one of the other places offered by The Hasbrouck’s!

Great Babymoon getaway

My husband and I had to switch babymoon plans last minute. We found this gem lake house on Vrbo and booked it the day before. Cathy & Paul were great and very responsive. The house was very cozy, perfect for a couple of a family with kids. The view of the lake is beautiful and a cozy porch to take in the view with your morning coffee. The town center is walking distance and everything is close by. We came with our little pug, she loved running around outside and napping by the fire. One thing to note, the master bedroom is loft style so it does require you to climb a winding staircase. Which is super cute, architecturally but may not be accessible for infants or those with a health condition. Can’t wait to book our stay again!
