About this cabin rental
Situated in Shenandoah Valley, this lovely cabin for $150 per night is a great choice for your next break. Private and secluded 2 bedroom cabin nestled on the Massanutten Mountain that can sleep 6 people. A spacious retreat offering views of the Page Valley and Blue Ridge Mountain. This getaway has all the conveniences of home in a private mountain setting. A 1.5 mile graveled road leads through pasture fields and undeveloped woods. Enjoy a spectacular view, relax in the six person hot tub, cast a line in the stocked pond or sit and relax on the large deck. There are no extra charges for towels and linens. This cabin is owner maintained. Enjoy dinner under the picnic shelter. Fire pit with chairs. The cabin is cleaned and disinfected when you arrive. When you leave, you will need to start a load of towel and sheets. There are 2 washers and dryers and detergent is provided. Make sure to wash and air dry all of your dishes. Please put all trash in basement. Make sure all of the lights are off, lock the door, and go on your way. If something is not working or right, just call and it will be addressed.

The cabin exceeded all of my expectations! I booked it for my boyfriend’s birthday and I was nervous about surprising him with it. All my nerves went away when we pulled up to the property, it was so lovely especially with the little bit of snow we got. This cabin has all of the accommodations that makes it the perfect place for a peaceful, quiet getaway. 10/10 we will definitely be returning!

By far, the best cabin! It has a little bit of everything offer-the amazing view, huge hot tub, peace and quiet, and well kept and nicely decorated cabin! We will definitely go back. So happy to have found this gem!

I can 100% say that this place is perfect! Perfect view, perfect for dogs, perfect for friends/family reunion and perfectly cozy. Me, my husband and our friends had such a great time and we are definitely coming back soon. That will be always our getaway place. Katie and Paul are very nice and gave us all the assistance we needed. Highly recommended!

Our trip was short and sweet, but we could have stayed forever! This home is so warm and welcoming with a beautiful view of the town from the porch. The location is convenient to shops and grocery stores, while also giving you the secluded relaxing environment you want from the mountains. We loved having the covered area outside to grill under as it started to rain in the middle of fixing dinner. We will be back!!

The home was so cozy and well-appointed! The hot tub was wonderful! The views from the deck were impeccable! To say it's secluded is an understatement, such a gem! I planned/booked this and it was beyond my expectations, the pictures don't do it justice, my fiance said it was his best birthday weekend ever!

This was such a pleasant surprise. Very secluded and amazing views. The hosts literally thought of everything from coffee, to laundry, to dishes, soap, etc. They even provided a list of things to do whether you wanted to hang at the cabin or go explore. To wake up every morning to the sunrise over the mountains and a fresh cup of coffee in complete silence was exactly what we needed. There was even plenty of room for our dog to run around and i know she enjoyed herself. We will certainly come back every year!

We somehow forgot how picturesque and peaceful this place is.
Walking out onto the balcony on a clear summer morning and taking in the view over a mug of coffee almost brings tears to my eyes.

It was raining when we arrived which resulted in a gorgeous rainbow over the property. This was a positively delightful place to stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our family for a couple of days, especially if you are “outdoorsy!” Our kids absolutely loved the taxidermy on the walls in the living room and really enjoyed fishing in the small pond! Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with.
The only thing I would’ve appreciated is a little cooking oil for the kitchen. Given how remote it is, it’s not easy to run to the store for something you only need 1-2 tbsp of. Other than that, everything was fine!

This property was beautiful! The location was 15 minutes from the Luray Caverns and the view from the deck was worth a million dollars. It was clean and very neat. If you want to relax in a serene, peaceful beautiful place, rent this place.

Instantly fell in love with the cabin while driving up the driveway. Fell even more in love upon walking into the cabin. Views are breath-taking. Interior decorations are beautiful and cozy. This cabin offered everything and more. Already planning another visit!

The cabin exceeded my expectations. The view alone is just incredible, but the space itself was just perfect. It was great to unwind on the deck or in the hot tub after a day of being on the trails. The pond was fun for the family to do some fishing. Even just the space itself was perfect for our dog and kids to be able to play. The cabin itself was stocked with all you need- and we cooked most nights. I would return here if we ever came back to the area in the future as it is probably my favorite VRBO we have stayed it. Highly, highly recommend!

The location of this property is beautiful! My kids and husband enjoyed fishing in the pond (fishing poles provided). The hot tub and views from the deck were also terrific! The owners provided plenty of towels, dish soap, and even coffee and coffee filters. It’s little things like that that take a VRBO rental to the next level. If we find ourselves in this area again, we will rebook.

The absolute perfect getaway! BEAUTIFUL views right from the porch. In our two night, three day stay we didn't eat a single meal indoors; we enjoyed the incredible views of the Shenandoah mountains right from the deck for breakfast and dinner.
The seclusion was amazing! It couldn't have been more a more private getaway.
Plus, throw in a hot tub and fire pit and it was just perfect.
Lack of internet was no problem, it kept us off our phones.
I could go on and on about how much we loved it, but I'll just put it like this. We absolutely hope to be able to stay again!
One final note: I drive a hybrid car (in other words it's low to the ground) even with the gravel road I had no problems making it to the cabin

A beautiful cabin in a cleared area surrounded by woods. A nice gravel drive leads to the cabin. Cleared areas around the cabin are well-maintained for walking pets or for children to play. Spectacular mountain views from all areas on the wrap-around deck! Hot tub is located on the deck with views of the mountains. The cabin is close to Luray Caverns, downtown Luray, stores, and shops. A superior paved walking/biking trail is located next to a pretty creek in the Town of Luray. There is also a nice pond for fishing. This is a gorgeous place to go for a quiet and peaceful stay. We loved it here so much -- we will be returning for the holidays.

Burners Lodge was exactly what we need for a small getaway weekend. We disconnected from everything! The views are absolutely amazing.! I would have been content on the deck all day taking in the scenery, listening to every different bird song, and just flat out relaxing! The hot tub was wonderful, enjoyed the fishing pond, the covered grilling area was very nice, we always love cooking and grilling. Only suggestions i would make, a bug zapper in a few area's, the flies werevery bad. Also new mattresses could be helpful, the were not very comfortable . All and all, this place is beautiful and would love to visit again!

You will be mesmerized by the breathtaking mountains views of Shenandoah NP across the valley. The cabin has every amenity you will need for the perfect peaceful retreat. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as fishing in the pond. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are just moments away from the convenience's of town and tourist activities.

We absolutely loved the cabin and the location. Very close to downtown Luray, but also remote with plenty of space for our dogs to explore. The views of the cabin were also amazing. Will be back!!
