About this house rental
Located in Oxford, this lovely house for $640 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The John-Marie House is located in a historic residential, family oriented neighborhood and is within walking distance to the Oxford Square. (This property shares a rear parking court with its 2 bedroom sister property, The Josephine House, VRBO #1859778). It is a fully restored, vintage, 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage (3 king beds). The single story home features a large front porch and 1800 square feet of interior living space with hardwood floors through out. The open concept living area of the John-Marie House features comfy seating, a 50 inch smart tv, original art, quartz counters, stainless appliances and shiplap feature walls.The kitchen is equipped with toaster, Keurig, standard coffee maker, large selection of pots and pans, dinnerware and eating utensils. Each bedroom includes a king size bed, white bedding, a flat screen tv and sound machine and plenty of closet space. Master bedroom has an en suite with marble counters, double sinks, and shower. The large hall bath includes marble counter, double sinks and tub/shower combo. Guests are provided with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and hairdryer. The cozy writer's room offers a private designated work space for the business traveler. Wireless internet is provided. The laundry room includes a vintage sink and a full size washer /dryer and iron/ironing board. The John-Marie House has off street, monitored parking with 3 John Marie House parking spaces that are marked with John Marie House signage. The rear Josephine Guest House also has designated parking spaces in the shared parking court. Please see photo for property layout. Convenient check-in! Drive to the home and use a code that we provide only to you. The John--Marie House is quaint, cozy, beautiful and ready for your memories. Please note that House rules prohibit parties, events or gatherings. Charming Southern Home
This is one of the most adorable vacation homes that we have stayed at yet; clean, comfortable, and beautiful! My sisters and I were in town for my nephew’s wedding and loved everything about our stay, from the upgraded amenities, decor, and cute porch and of course the town! The house was so welcoming, and we loved seeing the pictures and learning the history of the remodel. Thank you!

Perfect for Ole Miss stay for baseball, football, Grove, & Square
This is a fabulous house in the perfect location. We stayed here for a baseball game and it was easy walking distance to the game. We also walked to the Square for eating and drinking and night life. Looking forward to football weekends here because we could walk to Grove and football stadium. The house is perfect and my wife wants to copy some of the ideas from the decor and layout in our own house.

Charming Hone in Oxford
My family and I loved this home. We were visiting with my son who will be a freshman at Ole Miss in the fall. I loved sitting on the front porch with my coffee in the mornings. Very well appointed and spacious. We hope to stay here many times over the next four years!

Extremely nice home within walking distance to The Square, which saved the hassle on some Uber rides. Historic home that has been completely remodeled. Everything clean and neat. There was a 2nd rental house behind ours, which was empty at the time, but would be a great setup for multiple families.

We spent the weekend at the John Marie visiting our boys at Ole Miss. What a beautiful home. The accommodations, location and overall setting could not be more perfect. We felt like we were in a beach house! We will be back for sure. Can we reserve now for Graduation weekend of 2023?

Dream Property
This house exceeded our expectations in every way! The photos don't do it justice. No detail has been overlooked in the home and it's equally stunning and comfortable. We could have not left the house all weekend and still had a great time. The location is ideal and everything about the processs was very smooth and easy!

Wedding Weekend 2-15-2020
My son found his bride during his last year at Ole Miss and they returned to this beautiful city to be married. This house was the perfect fit for this celebration. It’s absolutely stunning and the owners provided everything we needed and more. The photos do not do it justice, a beautiful historical home. The owners were kind enough to allow the groomsmen to meet here while photographers took photos of them getting ready and then everyone was picked up by the trolley to have more photos made on campus. The location was perfect, just blocks from restaurants, the Square and campus. We love being able to walk around and enjoy the city. We will definitely be back! Of all the rentals we have had in Oxford over the years, this was the absolute best. I hesitate to share this one because I would like to keep this gem to myself. I wish it had been available before his graduation in 2017. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home.

Absolutely amazing rental home!
For anyone coming to Oxford, you should definitely look at this lovely home. All the furnishings, bedding, artwork and overall beautiful home made our weekend perfect. I did not want to leave! Top it off with the fact that you are just a short walking distance from the Oxford square! 3 gorgeous King bedrooms, and 2 full baths are perfect for our 2 couples for a long weekend. We did not cook, but had everything we would have needed . Thank goodness for the Keurig and yummy coffee provided. Wonderful time, highly recommend!
