Everything was excellent, starting with the communication before the arrival. Karmen was very helpful and forthcoming. The room and bathroom is perfectly decorated, a lot of consideration has been put into arranging it beautifully. There is all you need for a pleasant stay, such as making a cup of tea/coffe and even dishes and glasses if you want to make a salad or arrange to eat on the terrace. The rooms/suites (I think there are 3) are in a nice traditional building on the 3rd floor and I like climbing the stairs (an excellent exercise). I stayed in the room facing the garden which was very quiet. The terrace was spacious and very nice for having breakfast, or lingering there in the evening. A special bonus is an excellent access to the public transport: both train station of Circumvesuviana and the bus station are less than 2 min walk. This is the last train station before Sorrento, so you have a great choice by taking a train, a bus or walk to the centre (25 min). This makes the location also a perfect base for exploring the Amalfi coast and the Pompeii. There's a well-supplied supermarket just 3 min walk away. I haven't missed not to be in the very center of Sorrento at all. Thanks, Karmen! I hope to return!

The apt was absolute fantastic with patio area overlooking Corso Italia with a 20 minute walk along the main road into Sorrento. Less than 5 mins walk from train station and 2 minutes from bus stops. The apt is excellent with the host providing beautiful touches, sweets , cakes, toiletries and even a video showing you how to get to the apt from station. I’ve been in 5* hotels that had less extras. The host was in constant communication before and during our trip and couldn’t be more helpful going above and beyond what could reasonably be expected. This was 6* service. Karmen, the host, is literally one in a million- you will not get better service anywhere. I cannot recommend Karmen and Penthouse apartments highly enough.

Everything was amazing. Carmen is an amazing host and is available all hours of the day. She is super welcoming and left us a bunch of gifts which is super thoughtful. The apartment is spacious, the position is amazing and it was super clean. Carmen left us a bunch of messages detailing how to get to Positano, Amalfi and Capri which really made the trip much easier. The apartment is super close to the bus stations that you need to get around the Amalfi coast. We could not have picked a better apartment truly and thank you once again to Carmen for being the amazing host she is. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, wonderful host who sent heaps of information. Brilliant easy to find location and I walked easily to and from Sorrento.
Really quiet apartment and i enjoyed reading on the terrace. Lots of little extras in the apartment including coffee and a machine and snacks.
