Situated in Folly Beach, this lovely condo for $339 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties. Welcome to 17 Turtle Bay! This 3 BD/ 3 BA townhome is in a riverfront community that offers the best of both worlds, from a communal swimming pool and fishing pier to a 10-minute walk (3 min golf cart ride) to the beach! The main area offers an open concept kitchen/dining area and living room that leads to a screened in porch with glimpses of the river. The main bedroom is located upstairs and opens to a private deck. Each of 3 bedrooms have access to their own private bathroom and each provide plenty of storage space. Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island! Although not confirmed by the city, work is expected to start around early March until mid-August 2024 and will be focused one block at a time. While we expect this to be a net positive to everyone (more sand and larger beaches), there is a small chance that your closest beach access point may be impacted during your stay. The city hasn't provided any further information on more precise dates, scheduling, or sequencing. But you can stay informed with the latest by visiting the City of Folly Beaches website. Please note that our office does not have any more information than what is posted online, and we are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the re-nourishment during your stay. Notes You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home. Contactless Check-In: This home offers a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles; 2 cars fit comfortably in the garage and 1 more car can be parked under a covered carport. The community pool is open April - October from 8am-10pm (exact dates vary depending on the weather) The fishing dock is accessible year-round. The building is elevated so the entry is via stairs (no elevator is available) We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use. Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am. The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am. No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office. No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay. We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking. 12 miles to Downtown Charleston. 22 miles to Charleston Airport. To comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license. Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable. Gorgeous townhouse fully stocked including bikes, games and beach chairs. Close to everything and very peaceful! Only recommendation is to replace the beds they are not the most comfortable.

Loved everything about 17 Turtle Bay! Our whole family came and we had plenty of room. Everything was there that we needed for cooking, beach, etc. We rented a golf cart which worked out great for going to the beach or into Folly for meals. Screened porch was awesome and we could watch the grandkids in the pool. The huge walk-in closet in master worked great as bedroom for baby in pack-n-play. Would definitely rent this townhouse again!!

Place was in great condition and clean. Very comfortable for our group of 6. It was really nice having the dock to fish from and watch sunsets. The community pool is a little small but still nice enough for our needs.

Usually stay at a hotel in downtown Charlestown and book this Folly Beach condo instead, what a great surprise and find! Unit was super clean, great views of the harbor, great location within walking distance to beach and downtown Folly Beach for restaurants and shopping. Will definitely go this route instead of a hotel next time!

We enjoyed our stay at Turtle Bay. We made use of the pool, which was conveniently located next door to the unit (you can hear a little pool noise but it didn't bother us). The upstairs shared bedroom had noisy mattresses for people who turn a lot in their sleep. We enjoyed the few blocks walk to the beach (maybe recommend bringing a wagon if you have a lot of stuff or young kids). There was beach chairs available for use. There was also bicycles but unfortunately it rained for the last few days of our visit and we didn't get to enjoy them. Overall, I would recommend this place for families to stay.

We had 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby with us at the house. Perfect amount of space for all of us. We had a chef in our group who had plenty of pots and pans to use, it was well furnished and clean! The only issue was the coffee pot, we could never get a full pot as it kept turning off, would recommend replacing soon. There was a Keurig as well, but had to use 8 pods a day. We left our extras for the next renter!
We also noticed there were no dish towels, pot holders or cleaning rags so we purchased a big set of each and left in the house for other renters!
The house has a beautiful view of the water, loved the screened in porch for the kids and eating outside. Having the pool right next door was amazing! Never had any noise issues, it was truly an enjoyable week! Highly recommend this house to rent.

We could not have picked a better place to stay and enjoy a relaxed setting. The pool was great. We enjoyed the boat docks and can’t wait to come back with our paddle boards. The condo was so clean and well stocked. We ride the bikes and we’re so grateful for the beach chairs. We also had fun with the games. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us. This rental was in the perfect location with the perfect amenities and the perfect floor plan for our family. The one bed and bath downstairs worked for my elderly mother, with a large bedroom with two beds for our adult sons and a primary bedroom perfect for me and my husband.
We have nothing but great memories for our stay and what was provided as part of the rental.

Last minute weekend getaway
My husband and I decided to go to the beach for a last minute getaway. This property was much larger than we needed, but oh so convenient to everything. We drove to the “pay at the box parking” and enjoyed a very short walk to the beach with all of our gear each day. One evening we rode bikes from the garage on the beach. We walked out on the boat pier and sat on the swing and watched bats come out at dusk, and watched dolphins frolic in the riverfront by the boat landings too. It was a fabulous weekend.

The Turtle Bay property was one of the best VRBOs we have rented! It was very clean and comfortable. Convenient location, short walk to the beach and also, a close drive into Charleston. Loved the sunsets on the fishing dock and morning coffee on the screened-in porch. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. Definitely would love to go back to this rental!
