Floor-to-ceiling windows in every room are open to the gentle ocean and mountain breezes in this bright, airy and beautifully appointed 2nd floor unit on the 9th tee of the Kona Country Club golf course overlooking tranquil Keauhou Bay in the heart of the Keauhou Historical District. Countless cultural and historical sites including the birthplace of King Kamehameha III, the Lekeleke battlefield and burial cairns at Kuamo'o (aka The End of The World) are all within walking distance. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen TV and big windows that look out on the golf course and ocean, and the adjoining master bath has a walk-in shower. Equipped with a queen-size Murphy bed with wardrobes on either side, an Alcove becomes a private bedroom by closing the louvered pocket doors from the living room. A full-featured kitchen, over-sized clothes washer and dryer, and a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower bring all the comforts of home to Paradise. The focal point of this second floor unit is undoubtedly the secluded lanai. Expansive, unobstructed views of the golf course, palm trees and the ocean beyond make the lanai the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, relax on the comfy chaise lounge, or take in a glorious sunset while cooking fresh fish on the convenient grill. Leisurely breakfasts and glorious evening sunsets bookend every tropical day in Paradise. We provide everything you need for a great day at the beach, a picnic, or exploring the Big Island - including snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and ice chests. Or enjoy time at the salt-water swimming pool - just a short walk away and complete with lounge chairs, tables and chairs, and umbrellas.

Eric and Damon are great hosts and offer a very well-equipped condo. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, including really nice pots and pans. The washer, dryer, and drying rack on the lanai were very welcome, as were the beach chairs, sunbrella, boogie boards, beach towels, coolers, ice packs…. The Keauhou Shopping Centre is only a few minutes drive away, so very handy for groceries, restaurants and other shops. The pool is great to cool off after a day exploring the island, and usually pretty quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer. Returning to Alaska winter was a rude awakening!! Highly recommend.

This was the first time my husband and I visited the Big Island. We were there for the Ironman World Championships. Our stay at Kona Vacay was wonderful!! We can't say enough about how great Damon and Eric were as our hosts. Most of our communication was with Damon since Eric was out of town with family. From the very start, Damon made us feel very welcome. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place and how to use everything. The place itself was excellent and just as described. We liked the fact that it was a little bit away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to everything in Kona. Damon was great with communication and was able to give us advice on places to eat and things to do. We highly recommend staying at Damon and Eric's place. If we are fortunate enough to return to the Big Island, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your place!!

Our second stay at this apartment, even better than the first time in 2019 as we stayed longer! Great communication with hosts, no fuss booking and check in. We LOVE this location, although best to have a car. Spacious apartment, everything you need, snorkelling gear and body boards, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, the hosts even bought us a beach umbrella. We ate on the lanai for every meal. New Air Conditioning unit in the bedroom, although we did not use it as love the ceiling fans and open windows and doors throughout. The pool in this complex is the best...clean, clear, mostly quiet, warm shower and plenty of chairs, loungers and umbrellas. Even a book lending library at the pool! We don't mind the early starts from the golf course workers and golfers, as the views and privacy from the lanai are awesome. Walks around coast and golf course. Close to supermarket and shopping centre, and walking distance to harbour and twice weekly market. Easy drive to Kona, 25 minutes to airport. THANK YOU :)

Highly recommend this condo. Conveniently located near great snorkeling spots in Kona and Captain Cook, grocery shopping and downtown Kailua. Very much stocked with anything you can imagine and the property managers are very helpful and accommodating.

The condo was in excellent condition when we arrived, clean, all you could ask for in Hawaii. Plenty of extra's for outdoor activities, the indoor accommodations were great too. There was plenty of space and a great view of the ocean and sunset's. We enjoyed all that the place had to offer.

We love staying here it's so peaceful and beautiful. Eric and Damon are great hosts. We are close to everything we want to do. Pool is great. Always a nice stay. The day we left we had a dead battery and Eric gave us a jump so we could make it to airport on time. Mahaho again, Josh and Tracey Hardy

Condo is conveniently located near great snorkeling spots in South Kona and Captain Cook, grocery shopping and downtown Kailua. My three friends and I had a wonderful stay! This place has all the things you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The property itself was comfortable and spacious and in the closet were all the things you needed for the beach. Our hosts were kind wonderful people and I will definitely be back to stay again! We truly enjoyed our time here. Very nice, quiet property. Used it as our home base for the first part of our stay, then stayed closer to Volcano NP at the end. There were no issues at all during our stay. The hosts thought of everything. Great to have a cooler, beach chairs, etc. The propane BBQ on the balcony was perfect for burgers. The pool is small, but close to the unit and was great to cool off. As others have mentioned, the outside noise (birds, yard crew, etc) starts really early. All of the windows are slats to allow airflow, but also allows in sound. We didn’t mind at all. It was actually nice to get the day started early. But if that bothers you, bring earplugs or reconsider. We would definitely stay again!

We spent 10 nights on the Big Island and this condo was the perfect location: close to shops, snorkeling, and more! Eric and Damon were excellent hosts: very accessible and accommodating. The condo had everything we needed to cook and relax; the view from the lanai was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. We hope to return soon, mahalo!

Our family had a great stay in this condo. Eric and Damon were very welcoming and on top of communication. We travel to Kona often and this trip we actually had to split time between two condos due to scheduling. This is the one I would rebook again. Very clean space, comfortable beds, and we loved the open concept to the lanai.

Loved staying at Eric and Damon’s condo. We were greeted with a welcome basket with Hawaiian treats to enjoy throughout our stay. They are great hosts. The condo is stocked with everything you would need for a great vacation. They have thought of everything! The bed is super comfortable. Loved hanging out on the Lanai, enjoying the awesome view. We had a great time at the rental, we were very comfortable, weather and breeze were very nice and no concern for not having an AC. Unit was well equipped for everything we needed from all beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels and chairs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and enjoyed our meals on the lanai.
Eric and Damon live next door and were always easily accessible, we ran into them a few times and they helped with suggestions of what to do and are there if you need anything.

Overlooks famous golf course and a bit of ocean, well furnished and well equipped, renovated and very comfortable vintage condo. Upscale area. Great sunset views. Pool in the complex was clean, inviting, and uncrowded. Great restaurants nearby, beaches. Six miles to center of Kona. Walking distance to manta ray viewing sites and Keauhoe shopping center. Excellently managed.

Home away from home
This was by far the best home away from home experience I've had and I travel frequently. I am a travel healthcare worker, and this location was convenient and has everything you could need. I wish I could have extended my stay for the rest of my contract. Damon and Eric are the best hosts. They have thought of everything to make this stay easy and accommodating. For a work trip this had complete kitchen, washer dryer, space to work from home if needed. For those vacationing, which I got to experience on weekends, was even better. The view is amazing. I plan to return in the future! Mahalo!

Property was a little slice of heaven. Lots of amenities to use for a perfect trip to Kona. Eric and Damon were gracious and great with communications before and after. It really added to a perfect vacation. Can’t recommend enough.

The good.
The tasteful appointments were really nice.
We enjoyed the deck, especially during sunsets. The lounge chair was perfect and comfortable.
The Kitchen was very well equipped and accommodated all of our needs, the wash/dryer was a plus.
Relaxing in the living area with the large TV added to our sports enjoyment and other media entertainment.
The beds were comfortable, we switched sleeping on them to wake up to a different view now and then.
Supplying us with a small coffee grinder and Usb port was a very classy gesture. Mahalo.

Then the ongoing tenant noise.
It was so loud at times no doubt others also heard it, mainly coming from the condo's above and below our unit. This went on for days. There were loud voices inside, on decks and outside, banging, furniture moving, article dropping, heavy high heel or clog shoes on floors to mention a few. This occurred during the day but mostly at night between 1am and 4am in the morning hours. Not sure if they were visitors or condo owners but they were never quiet.
We understand that owners do not have any control of who stays in their units' or others, but something has to be done to ensure that others will not have the negative experience of what we and previous renters have.
There are Condo Noise Rules, but those brainless, inconsiderate people ongoingly do not care.
Could have been 4/5 stars, 3 stars was a gift.

Beautiful sunsets
Lovely property exactly as advertised. Enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. Damon and Eric are thoughtful hosts and were very accommodating to our needs. Downside was the early morning noisy golf course mowing and loud party below us (that continued to 4 am.) That said I would stay here again and recommend this lovely property as a great stay!
