Comfortable but a number of annoying things. See above

Stayed in the penthouse. Not advised we could use the dining.

No full length mirror in the whole apartment. Toaster didnt work so we tried using the oven to toast bread. NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE OVEN AND ALL THE ONSCREEN MESSAGES WERE IN GERMAN!! This means we couldnt use the oven. It also took ages to learn how to use the stove top - again no instructions. No maps or paperwork showing places of interest in CT. We came from Australia and New Zealand and would really have been grateful for a map of the area.

We had a wonderful stay.

Everything was just perfect

The was no TV in the lounge area, it would be nice to watch TV with family. The TV is in the bedrooms only.

Disappointing

Good CBD location, the Onyx hotel is very nice (although these penthouses are not owned or run by the hotel). Good size and not cold even though we stayed in winter. Pool on the roof good enough for a plunge.

Communication from host was dreadful. Requested early check-in (1pm instead of 2pm) in advance due to flight arrival time but arrived around 1.30pm and there was no way to access the apartment and no answer from the host. Hotel staff were lovely and went above and beyond to assist but ultimately they can only repeatedly call the host for you who wasn’t answering. Eventually after banging on the door to the apartment for a while the cleaner answered and came to grant access around 3pm. She then gave a short tour of the apartment but wouldn’t let us see the master suite as she “hadn’t finished cleaning it”. It was horribly clear she had been sleeping in the master suite and then tried to finish cleaning the apartment, we had to ask her to leave after 40 mins or so (2 hrs after agreed check in time). When my husband went to put the robe on in the bathroom after a shower it stank of cologne and had a lighter in the pocket. Makes you wonder what else wasn’t cleaned!
