About this cottage rental
Hale Loke is a beautifully furnished and appointed single story detached cottage (no neighbors above or below). Hale Loke has two air-conditioned master bedroom suites and an a/c in the kitchen/living/dining area. The backyard has a BBQ grill, dining table, mountain views, banana trees and is surrounded by a lovely lava rock wall. Hale Loke sleeps 4. Just steps away is the tropical greenbelt walkway which leads to Poipu Beach & Brennecke's Beach or head east to Shipwreck's Beach fronting the Grand Hyatt Resort - a short 10 minute walk in either direction. As you walk from beach to beach you will pass Poipu Kai Resort's Tennis Club, restaurant, and also the pool and hot tub. Two golf courses, shopping and a variety of casual to fine dining are easily accessible and less than a mile away. Rate: From $275/Night plus 17.96% State GE/TAT/County Tax, $250 Refundable Security Deposit + $250 Cleaning Fee; and $50 Deposit Protection and $50 Reservation Processing Fee. *Rates are based on Season and subject to change until reservation is confirmed. This place is the perfect stop for southern Kauai access to beaches and almost anything! The place was clean and is great for 4 people to stay! It was great to have the garage and the deck too with the washing machine, etc.

Spent 13 nights. The home itself is nice. Quiet. Two nice bedrooms and each have associated showers/bathrooms. You are located within the Poipu tourist area, but the cottage is as close it gets to a private home in the area. The walk to Poipu and Shripwrect beach are about 10-15 mins and the walk itself is along a lovely well kept green trail (either direction). This was our first time in Kauai, but i cannot complain. We ate out mostly, but have multiple wonderful meals at home using the kitchen (basic, but all essentials covered). It felt like a tropical paradise. We will be back. There are always minor complaints, ours were miniscule: how does the TV remote work (we figured it out, but took 4 days, and weren’t trying the first 3 days.), the kitchen items are basic, but more than enough for average. LOCATION is the key. Walking to the nearby beaches and NO CAR might actually work if you’re only staying for 2-3 nights, otherwise, you’ll want a car. And then your explorations and discoveries will be the problem. There are soo many cool little towns and great little places to eat. PS I must send a shout out to Salt Pond Beach for the little kids. It’s a nearly perfect calm area for <7-8 year olds. But has awesome snorkeling and relatively few tourists. Poipu and Shipwreck beach are amazing, but there are LOTS of other people. In summary 5 stars!

Great place to stay. Very clean, very well equipped, very quiet and very conveniently located for your south shore plans. Going to the beach is a short walk through the community that we enjoyed every day and we had the barbecue running most evenings enjoying a relaxed vacation. A plus: Vicki was really helpful accommodating last minute requests and fixing stuff around the house during our stay.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the property. The house was clean and had everything you could need to make your stay a comfortable one. The location was also great…quiet and just a couple minutes from the beach. We also loved that the Poipu Athletic Club was included with the stay. It was nice to have access to a pool and fitness facility.

We had four generations on a family vacation. We rented this house and the second house available on the street. We were able to walk to the beach. We had family dinner and BBQ most nights. The house was clean, the kitchen was great, the garage was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Having laundry made a huge difference. The property texted when we arrived and was responsive to anything we needed, including questions about recycling and even where to get a pedicure! We will stay here again and highly recommend!

It is always a great stay.The online descriptions of the properties have always been accurate, the properties have always been clean, and the locations have always been well appointed. On this visit, we found some minor maintenance issues upon arrival but Vicki and her team addressed them right away so we could get on with having a fantastic time on the Garden Isle.Kauai is a very special place for our family and we try to visit every year. Poipu 365 is our first place to look for a vacation rental. We have always been happy, the Poipu 365 always takes great care of us, and we'll keep coming back.Mahalo!

Faucets need replaced. Washer needs replaced. Openings in soffit exposed and need new screens. Door locks need updated and replaced. Lights under microwave not working.
Shower handle missing in one shower had to use vice grips. Toilet in one bathroom had to hold handle down until totally flushed. Needs fan in second bathroom.

Our vacation rental was the best. Close to the beaches, the restaurants, and shops couldn’t ask for anything else. The space was great. Everything was provided dishes, beds, blankets towels. There were also some things in the garage that could be used chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards. The office staff is great and responsive to any of our needs.

Overall great stay. Management was great. I think there are just some minor things that could be improved. Hooks for hand towels next to mirrors. Better setup in kitchen so groceries could be more easily stored. Maybe a kitchen island? Living room/kitchen setup could use a rework.

Our overall stay was very good with no issues. We noticed a few upgrades from last year namely new living room and deck furniture. Both nice improvements. We especially like the deck on this property as we like to be outside if possible. A king size bed would be wonderful but other that that the property is well equipped.

This two bedroom, two bath home worked out really well for us. It was in a perfect location in sunny Poipu area between two great beaches within walking distance. Bring slippers for the tile floors. We loved the privacy with our own little yard. The slide at the Athletic Club was a favorite of our four year old grandson. It was about a mile away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Although, we prefer stainless steel pans. The beds were comfortable. The only downside for us was there was no bathtub for our little one. (Please note - the dresser in the second bedroom is broken- it’s a hazard if opened.)

This home was everything we needed for our trip! It is just a short walk to a beach where turtles and seals come to shore to lay in the sun. The location is perfect. It was less then a 20 minute drive to almost everything we needed. The home had extra stock of everything we needed (dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc.). The showers even has shampoo/conditioner and body wash! The beds were very comfortable and the AC in each bedroom was great. We never did make it to the pools but they looked very nice! Check in was super easy and instructions for the week were clear! I would definitely recommend this home for a small family or friends traveling together. Thank you!

This is a lovely spacious cottage, immaculately clean, convenient to beautiful walking paths and ocean. I stayed here with my wife and one other family member while attending a conference at the Grand Hyatt. The membership at Poipu Athletic Club is a bonus. The thoughtful managers of this property nicely anticipate the needs of its guests. When/if I have the privilege of returning to Poipu, I would choose to stay here again.

The location was really great! I really enjoyed our stay in Poipu! However when entering the property we noticed right away that the outdoor furniture was looking a little drab. Then when we enter the property the sofa looked horrible. We placed sheets on it before we would even sit on it. It was very comfortable though. Other than these couple of things it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was just me and my sister and we were very comfortable having our own bedrooms and bathrooms was great! We found beach chairs in the garage, they were functional even though parts of them were broken they still worked and we enjoyed having those to be able to use. Thanks for the great accommodations!

Excellent property. If there were an ocean view it would be SO perfect! Recently remodeled with good-quality choices made. Large master shower. Generous supply of nice bath towels. Wonderful to have several beach/pool towels also, plus beach chairs although they were in poor shape making them hard to carry. Wished maps of area showed where pool is.

Great location to beaches…
Check in was super easy. Two couples stayed in this location; we had another unit in the same area for the rest of the family. Worked out great with a three minute walk between the units. Air conditioning was great; the only thing that would have made it better was if the tile floor with a little cleaner and the bed in the second bedroom wasn’t as comfortable as it could’ve been. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this sweet little cottage in Poipu.

I would suggest if you go to try Shipwrecks beach. It’s less crowded and there are trees so it provides some shade. Also, the gym is fabulous. There is a water slide for the kiddos and it’s just an awesome place to work out. It was very quiet and safe. Central to pretty much every thing. I can’t say enough about this property. There was even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. We were sad to leave. Anytime we had a question customer service helped and weee always friendly!

Great place for two couples!
This property is great for two couples because there are two master suites. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. There are a few maintenance items I would fix to make this property too notch. (the couch had a big tear in it that had been sewn shut, the refrigerator is old and stained, the outdoor furniture is faded and worn) but all in all, a great place to stay.
