About this condo rental

Situated in LoDo, this attractive condo for $142 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Centrally located, close to concerts and sports events. Located in the heart of downtown, on the edge of the exciting Union Station redevelopment. The neighborhood has been changing so dramatically that our photographs of the skyline are different every month (you'll see a range of views, from an empty expanse just a few years ago to a brand-new vibrant cityscape now). Note: the HOA and the city of Denver prohibit short-term rentals, which is why we have the 29-night minimum. Union Station now offers full rail service to the airport, so getting around without a car is easier than ever. Or you can travel by Amtrak east (Chicago and beyond) or West, to the mountains or on to Salt Lake City or California. There is a morning train to the ski resort of Winter Park (with a stop in Winter Park itself on ski weekends or in the nearby town of Fraser any day, with a free bus to Winter Park Resort). In just a few years, scores of restaurants and bars have been added to the immediate neighborhood, along with two large full-service grocery stores (Whole Foods and King Sooper). Better deal than a downtown Denver hotel. Monthly furnished executive or corporate rentals. * Union Station .5 miles. * Elitch Gardens (.4 mi.) * Museum of Contemporary Art, DaVita headquarters, Confluence Park (.4 mi.) * Riverfront Park (.1 mi.) * Light rail station (.1 mi.) * REI (.4 mi.) * Pepsi Center, Tattered Cover, 16th Street Mall (.5 mi.) * Convention Center, Performing Arts Center (1.2 mi.) * Denver Aquarium, Children's Museum (.8 mi.) * Coors Field (1 mi.) * Highlands neighborhood, Little Man Ice Cream (.7 mi.) * Sports Authority Field at Mile High (formerly Invesco Field) (1.9 miles) On the 9th floor of Denver's prestigious Glass House, this one-bedroom unit features amazing views of downtown Denver from the combined living room and kitchen area. With a private deck, granite countertops, ceiling fan, dimmer switches, a 55' smart TV with Roku, Blu-Ray, fast wireless Internet, this is luxury executive living at its best. The Glass House features a large 8th-floor lounge with great views of the city, mountains, and park. Viking and Napoleon grills on the deck, a 30-foot gas fire pit, a large pool. home theater, internet, coffee, and kitchenette, and views from the 8th-floor lounge. Two memberships to the onsite gym. Glass House is one of Denver's iconic buildings, perfectly located with Riverfront Park on one side and the light-rail and bus station on the other, a short walk to downtown or the Highlands, with bars and restaurants just blocks away. Furnishings include a comfortable leather sofa, dining for four, beautiful panoramic photos from local photographer Tony Eitzel, a telescope, queen-sized bed, Elfa closet system for convenient storage, and a washer/dryer in the unit. Glass House is in the heart of the booming Union Station area of Denver, with an explosion of apartments, restaurants, and retail coming. This condo is in a great location! It is walking distance to great restaurants both in LoDo and the Highlands, the Performing Arts Center, Union Station and 2 grocery stores. Having the big park across the street, with access to bike trails, it doesn’t feel as if you are downtown. The Glass House is very well maintained and felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay.

We spent almost two months this past summer based at this unit in LoDo, Denver. While the unit is compact, it is clean, modern and comfortable it is also bathed in sunlight and so well located we never used our car in the city. You can walk to great restaurants, ball park and concert venues, food shops and parks which means a lot when you live in a car dependent society. Our purpose in Denver was to take a long summer break from another part of the country, access the Rockies for hiking and enjoy inner city life when not out in nature. Perfect! The building is managed exceptionally well, the staff friendly like you’re in a top hotel, the gym is also outstanding and was used extensively by us. The pool area for our time of year was great and given our weekdays were free we had the space largely to ourselves. The owners are also great, we needed to contact them and response was immediate and super friendly. Already looking at next year and when to return. Great trip, best location!

We spent a month in this condo from 12/15-1/15. We loved the building; great common area one floor down with latte type coffee available all day. Pool deck area is nice; closed for winter. Employees at front desk were friendly and there were ladies constantly cleaning the lobby, elevators and common area. If you have dogs the building is full of them. We had two and the park across the street was so close and a perfect place to walk them. Also, LoHi is a quick walk across the walking bridge and Whole Foods is a 5 minute walk! Denver’s homeless population has definitely increased as you’ll see when you walk the area but never felt unsafe. Condo was great size for two people. Kitchen plates, pots and pans and such was adequately stocked. Four seater dinning table. Bed comfortable and nice walk in closet with lots of space. Loved the view as condo overlooks pool and we could actually see New Year’s Eve city fireworks. Condo was very clean and well maintained. Finally, Ned, the landlord, was so easy to work with. He was quick to answer questions during rental decision and we had a few minor lights that needed to be replaced upon arrival and he was on it right away. If your looking for downtown Denver living close to urban green space and a hip vibe, this is the place!
