About this cabin rental
Situated in Hermitage, this lovely cabin for $185 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Welcome to Rural Hill Farm Lodging & Event Center! We offer quaint, comfortable lodging in a beautiful and serene environment! We have 6 beautiful cabins on the property & 17 full-hookup RV Sites located behind the cabins. Cabins 1-3 each sleep up to 4 guests, the Chalet sleeps up to 4, the Main house sleeps 8-12 & the Lower Cabin sleeps up to 9 for a total of up to 37 guests! Not pictured is a bunkhouse in one of our large event pavilions that sleeps an additional 6 for a total of 43 guests. Our large, secluded property is perfect for hosting weddings/elopements, family reunions, corporate events, church retreats or just a quiet getaway to catch your breath. Located in Mt. Juliet, TN yet close and convenient to Nashville and surrounding areas. The property consists of over 180 acres of beautiful scenery and landscape including a 2+ acre pond, fire-pits, park type grills, and picnic tables available for use. All lodging is equipped with many amenities: flat screen TV with DirecTV channels, refrigerator, microwave, two burner hot plate, toaster oven, coffee pot, iron/board, hairdryer, linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans. Wi-Fi is also available. Each unit has a deck with patio set overseeing the pond area, perfect for relaxing and nature watching. This A-Frame style cabin has a queen murphy bed downstairs and 1 queen bed in the loft (accessible by spiral staircase). One full bathroom with stand up shower stocked with linens. Kitchenette includes small appliances, dishes, and high top dinette set. Large deck with additional deck seating and patio table overlooking the pond and beautiful landscape. Check in is after 3:00 pm and check out is by 11:00 am. Early check in/late check-out may be available with advance request. You will receive an email with your confirmation, directions, lodging assignment and personal key code to the lock box outside your door. Use this code to retrieve your door key. At check out, just place the key back in the lock box. Event Disclaimer: We welcome weddings/events here at Rural Hill Farm (event pavilions are rented separately from the cabins - inquire within about hosting an event during your stay)! Please be advised that the cabins are located about 150 yards from our Event Center. All music/noise must be turned down by 10 PM according to a county noise ordinance and all events must end by 11 PM. We notify both cabin guests and event guests if there is an overlap during the stay dates. Construction Disclaimer: We are a working farm, which means from time to time we have farm/construction projects going on so you may hear heavy machinery being operated and/or see our team working. While infrequent, these improvements are necessary to offer the best experience to our guests! Cabin is available to rent weekly/monthly. We loved the property and how beautiful and quiet a stay we had. We relaxed but also were able to go the state park to kayak. Saw lots of deer on the property which was awesome :) Overall wonderful stay and highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We did things in Nashville and the location was really convenient for that too. Would definitely stay again.

Had some issues the first day, but it was corrected the next day. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed every morning drinking coffee on the back deck. Shower stall was small but we made it work, surprisingly the water pressure was great. It definitely served it purpose of breaking away from the crazy world.

Nashville trip with nature stay
I had some trouble following the instructions at night due to coming in an opposite way. But Safari Maps worked fine where Google didn’t. Emily was available even late to help out. And it was MUCH easier during the day to locate. The property itself is GORGEOUS.

It was very relaxing and quiet.. seeing I was the only one there! Lol! The Chalet was adorable.. the only problem I had was the spiral staircase. It was cute and I loved it but it was a little small.. and I am a small person! It was just what I needed to just get away for a few days and relax despite the weather! Very pleased!

Surrounded by deer. Chalet was perfect for the two of us. Very clean. Easy to check in and owner was very flexible letting us check out late because of flight changes at the last minute. Only negative to the entire thing was that trying to find the way to the chalet was a little hard the first time as the signs are very small.

1. The spiral staircase is a hazard. The steps are smooth metal and one of them angles downward significantly. If you are wearing socks (which we did since it was cool weather), you can easily slip. The step should (and could easily) be repaired.
2. We found evidence that mice had been in the cabin since we found acorns in the silverware drawer. Given the rural environment it is not a complete surprise, but I really don't want to have to deal with re-washing everything when I'm there to enjoy a weekend getaway.
3. There were no hotpads, dish rags, or dish towels. We managed with other towels or paper towels.
None of these things were complete game changers, just minor inconveniences and we definitely enjoyed the peaceful rural setting. I think with a little bit of attention to these kind of details, this cabin could go from a 4 star to a 5 star.
