About this house rental
Situated in Mountain Village, this attractive house for $695 per night is a great option for your next trip. Spacious, open floor plan home located on a quiet, secluded two acre parcel. Soaring windows offer views of mountains and the natural setting of this home. Home has three levels. The master suite, spaciously situated on its own level, is designed for full privacy. Views of the St. Sophia range are inspiring and the evening alpenglo must been seen to believe. Marble fireplace gives this room a warm, romantic ambiance. Master suite bath offers a soaking tub and large shower. On the central level the great room offers spacious seating, gas fireplace, large screen TV and full view of the trees and mountains. A large, snow melt heated patio is off the great room. It offers a gas grill for those evening steak dinners. Three guest bedrooms, and two full bathrooms, are located on the entry level. Two bedrooms have a queen bed and one bedroom has two extra long twin beds. The twin beds may be converted to a Cal King as well. Each have beautiful forest views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge, six burner gas stove with an electric convection oven, a toaster convection oven and a conventional coffee pot (no Keurig). We have most every kitchen gadget needed as well as a slow cooker. You can prepare meals for your friends or family easily in this space. The dining room table seats six and the bar area has seating for four. It is less than a ten minute drive to the gondola which gives you full access to all of Telluride's world-class skiing. The market is located in the parking complex making it convenient to pick up that forgotten treat after skiing. Mountain Village offers the Golden Door Spa at the Peaks, shops, and fine dining. Telluride with a host of outstanding restaurants and shops, is also only a short ten minute drive from your front door. You can also ride the free gondola to Telluride from Mountain Village. The views at night are not to be missed. Winter guests please note while Fox Farm Rd and our drive are paved, it snows (hopefully). The home has an elevation of 9850'. Therefore while the roads and driveway are plowed as necessary--a 4WD vehicle is REQUIRED for our guests to comfortably access our home. Even after the plowing, our driveway as well as Fox Farm Road can be quite icy and slick; perilous to a two wheel drive. Again a 4WD is a must!! Our site manager is not allowed to pull you out or to tow your vehicle due to liability issues. If you do get stuck, a tow truck must be called. We are thrilled to be able to offer a 7 man hot tub! The jacuzzi sits on a mid level deck with easy assessibilty from either floor. A sidewalk lets those on the ground level to reach it with ease. To gain access from the master, our top floor passes thru the sliding doors near the dining area. The outside fire table is so enjoyable too! Our fiber optic WIFI is fast. You should have no problem downloading, uploading or streaming. Our on-site manager, Carl will be in the apartment over the garage ready to answer any questions you might have during your stay. Please note our parking guidelines; Carl has a full time job and will need to get in and out of the driveway easily. While there you may need access to our laundry facilities. Both washer and dryer are available in the garage. Take note that we the owners, as well as our manager stores items in the garage for our use only. This house was perfect for me, my husband, ours boys, and cousins
There is plenty of sleep space, bathrooms, and very well equipped kitchen. Not to mention we didn’t need to bring any soaps or shampoos it was all there. The hot tub was a HIT and location to mountain village was perfect! We were able to drive and park at the gondola then head in to ski or hit downtown telluride. Our host was always responsive to any of our questions! We will be back!

We all had a fabulous stay in this beautiful and spacious home and already talking about trying to come back. We came for the Telluride Blues Festival and the location was perfect. The layout of the home was great for our group of family and friends - everyone had plenty of space to themselves and the main floor was perfect for all of us being together. The kitchen was so well stocked and had everything that we needed during our stay. We had some issues with the heat for the first day and night there but the owner and caretaker, Carl, were super responsive and worked hard to get a solution worked out the next day. The owners were very accommodating and checked on us several times over our stay and we really appreciated that. We would definitely stay here next time we are in Telluride.

Stayed with my wife, my parents and my brother’s family. We loved the home. It was clean and very comfortable. It even had lotion in the bathrooms for our dry skin after being out in the sun all day. We were just a few minutes from the mountain village gondola and explored the area riding those. Laurie was responsive ahead of our visit. We definitely recommend this home!

This house is quite perfect! We had such a nice time here! We enjoyed BBQing, hot tubing, and the quiet, bird-song mornings! Carl, the property manager, was kind and accommodating for any questions we had! A truly wonderful time!

We had a large group of family with kids of mixed ages and we all really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a big hit post skiing and the layout and rooms were all very comfortable. My only recommendation would be to get a new coffee pot, it leaked coffee grounds and water whenever we used it and is on the small side for a large group. Other than that we had an amazing spring break at your home.

The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook many meals there. It was also very close to the ski hill and was only a short 7-8 min drive. The owners checked in with us during our stay via text and were very responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

Our vacation Home was great in so many ways.. The home was located in close proximity to the gondola, which takes you to downtown Telluride: you can also drive there in a few minutes. Groceries were close at the Market and we had a great experience at The View restaurant in Mountain Village. We had my daughter, son in law and three kids stay with us and our home was perfect: great separation as the master is very isolated on the third floor with fantastic views. The owner has detailed everything with great instructions and the home offers so much with solarium, good heating and water systems, lots of operable windows- well maintained. The kitchen is ready to cook, with all needed utensils and cookware. We really felt at home with the media, fireplaces, furniture, and fire table. The beds are good: the master has an amazing view with sunrise in the morning! The altitude is high at 9,700 feet so a few days of acclimation is needed for Texans! Owners are very responsive and property manager is close if needed. We will be back! Great home..

We loved our stay in Laurie's home - the views were incredible and it was extremely clean and comfortable. It's very secluded and peaceful. The hot tub is a great treat after a day of exploring. It's a very short drive to Mountain Village and downtown Telluride is easily accessible via the Gondola or a quick drive, as well. We would definitely come back!

We spent 4 wonderful days in Telluride, in Laurie's house. We really enjoyed our stay! The house is indeed quiet, secluded and spacious. We also had a good time around the fire table and soaking in the hot tub. The house is clean and well equipped to have a comfortable stay. Arrival information made our check-in and check-out very easy.

This home was lovely and very comfortable. It is above Upper Mountain Village by a short 12 minute drive but you can hike down to the gondola in about 50 minutes. We loved taking the gondola down to town each day and then returning to our secluded haven in the afternoon. Relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying the spectacular views from the front deck were great. The spacious lay out accommodated our family of five easily (adult children).

We were in Telluride for a wedding and traveled with the entire family (8 including 2 toddlers). The home was perfect. It was very quiet which was great for the sleeping toddlers. The lower level has 3 bedrooms so we didn't have to tiptoe around during nap time and bed time. At first I was worried about the location being 8 miles from town but it was no big deal. The gondola was our mode of transportation and it was a 2 minute drive. This was where the grocery store was also. We had friends staying downtown in a much smaller condo for a lot more money. We were in the lap of luxury. The hosts and caretakers were wonderful. I can't wait to return.

Beautiful Telluride vacation home in the woods!
The home is beautiful! It's located about 8 minutes away from the Mountain Village gondola, so it was very convenient to drive and park at the gondola every day to head into town. The house was very clean and spacious for 7 guests. The outdoor amenities (hot tub, fire table, patio table, etc.) were just what we needed! Would definitely stay here again.

This peaceful home is surrounded by lovely trees & singing birds, and the gorgeous outdoors has been brought inside with a relaxing solarium filled with plants and charming bird art throughout the home. Loved it!

We were extremely pleased with this rental. Everything was in good order, well supplied. Kitchen, dishes, towels. The solarium was lovely for a good rest after a long ski day, as was the hot tub! Hosts were extremely reliable and answered all of questions, and even went as far as getting us a port a crib for our one year old!! You certainly DO NEED four wheel drive to get through the neighborhood and driveway … less than 10 minutes to gondola parking and approximately 15 into town. Easy !! Thank you

Wonderful Stay
This is our 3rd time staying at this property and our family is excited to return to it! It’s location is perfect and it’s been fun to have more outdoor space for our kids to play in the snow while we enjoy them from the sun room! The kitchen has everything you would need to cook any type of meal! Not only is the property wonderful, but so is Laurie! She checks on us and has been more than helpful and gone out of her way to pass along helpful information. Last year when we had a terrible snowstorm that cancelled our trip, she was more than understanding and accommodating! Can’t wait for our next vacation here!!

Ski trip to Telluride
Awesome property. Secluded in the woods, and a short drive to downtown and the ski resort. The house is very clean and has every amenity you would ever need. Owners are super responsive and the property manager was incredibly helpful and kind. They even left us a fresh baked apple pie upon check in (nice touch)! 100% satisfied, I would book here again without a doubt.
