About this cottage rental
Nestled in Temple, this lovely cottage for $109 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Texas Star cottage is only five minutes from Temple, seven minutes from Belton and only eleven minutes to Salado. The Silos, in Waco, are forty minutes away. The cottage is centrally located, yet has a country feeling. Fruit, muffins, and beverages will be in the refrigerator upon your arrival to be enjoyed at your leisure.. Sit on the covered porch, take in the views. Bikes are available to ride with prior notice. Taylors Valley is a beautiful area to take walks. At this time, we don't have horses but are seeking horses to pasture. The cottage has a living/dining/ kitchen combination, beautifully decorated with a separate bedroom. It has a covered front porch with relaxing rockers that look over the pasture. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with down comforter. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen with granite countertops, flat screened television, with Netflix, Hulu & Disney, DVD player with over 30 DVD's to watch, WIFI, and a day bed. Our ten acre property is located across the street from a large ranch, and is a great area for hiking and biking. This property beats any hotel room in terms of privacy, space, covered parking, and hospitality.

We loved the quiet, clean, well maintained house. It is very charming and we appreciated so much, the extra thoughtful touches like breakfast muffins and snacks, movies, board games and books to read. It is thoughtfully decorated and cheerful. If we were frequent vacationers to this area, we would most definitely rent again!!

Exactly like the pictures show. Quiet and away from all the city noise. The horses really enjoyed the apples we gave them every day. Personal touches were so nice. Highly recommend staying here. Hope to be back.

We got in late, Instructions were excellent a few days before leaving which was very helpful, the little snacks were wonderful for a late arrival. We rented a car at Austin Airport and there was covered secure parking. Coffee for morning, so many little things shampoo,rinse. We didn’t cook but could with an oven and microwave. Excellent country morning walks. We definitely would return

A very nice studio arrangement that worked really well for us on our trip. Was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed being able to go out and feed the horse in the field next to the house.

My wife spent 2 weeks here while on a med school clerkship. She enjoyed the nice, calm surroundings, especially the horses and cows. The accommodations were comfortable, and the host was very attentive and responsive.

Super nice property that’s close to town and in the country as well. Peaceful, well appointed with everything you could need. I would recommend some attention to the bed, it’s a bit saggy and you tend to roll to the middle but otherwise fantastic!

The location was perfect, short drive to Belton and wedding venue. Cottage was located in a neighborhood that was quiet and had little-to-no traffic. Street was mainly used by few residents in the area. Great stay and felt safe. Host lives in main house on the property.

Perfect set Up

I stayed a full month at Bell County and can not say enough good things about it. The home offers the peace and quiet of the country but is just minutes from down town. Further more, DeYette goes above and beyond as a host. I would highly recommend this booking!

We had a very restful visit over the weekend. Just what we wanted. So close to so much yet tucked away from it all in a beautiful location.
The house is cozy, private and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Charming cottage!
Hosts were great and answered any questions we had. This place was just right for us, peaceful and quiet. A little ways out of closest town yet everything we wanted to do and see was within a 10-mile radius.
We highly recommend it for anyone wanting a getaway!
