Hi everyone!
Definitely recommend Randy&Taresa apartament to stay. It’s 13th floor with great view! Elevator works smooth and fast,stuff very friendly and helpful.Parking included in price.
4 min. by car to the sandy beach not overcrowded!
For shopping recomend Waianae Market.
In apartament was all we needed.

Randy was really helpful when was needed, the location is great, the stores are 8 to 15 minutes driving from the condo, beaches are really close. All the staff were friendly. Laundry was really easy to do. We will come back to the same place no doubt.

It was my family's 3rd visit to Makaha Valley Towers when we rented Randy's condo this winter.
The condo was also nice and clean, with everything we needed during our stay.
There were some ants in the bathroom and we saw a roach in the kitchen once, but other than that, the house was almost free from bugs which was a big plus.
However, happy story ends here.
When we came back home, I received a message from Randy asking what we could do about the rip in the main drapes.
We noticed it in the middle of our stay but didn’t think much about it since it was already there and we assumed Randy would know about it.
He argued that we're responsible for it because we did not report it to him during our stay.
We did not know that we had to inspect every piece of drapes and report it to the owner.
After a long list of messages exchanged, he demanded $250.
It became a truth game between him and myself.
Based upon no evidence, Vrbo decided to charge $250 to my credit card for a damage we did not cause.
I strongly advise travelers to either examine every single corner of the house and report even the slightest damages or just buy the damage protection insurance to avoid any trouble.
We had an excellent vacation then, but unfortunately it became an unpleasant memory now.

Million dollar view outside of the big city
We had a great stay. The beaches are beautiful around makaha. And Randy's place is clean with unbelievable views of the mountains and ocean. He has everything you could possibly need. Also, a great salt water pool to swim.
The area down from the property has quite a lot of transient people and at times with kids it can feel unsafe. However the towers are isolated up in the hills and have some amazing security that monitor the property.
Also, expect long drives to honolulu or anywhere else on the island in bumper to bumper traffic at times. Makaha valley is quite isolated on the west coast, so if you are looking for an area with little to no tourists: this is it! It is the real hawaii experience.

Delightful Stay
We have been staying in Makaha for the last two of many visits to the Island. This was a wonderful month and we found Randy to be very delightful to work with and was very attentive to any questions we had. He surprised us on our last day with a call to wish us well and hope we had a great visit. Will look forward to staying again! Thanks!!

We spent two weeks in this beautiful condo. Everything we would need was provided. If you are looking for local rural Hawaii you found it. Cant wait to come back next year for two weeks

Wonderful condo well-equipped with plenty of beach paraphernalia and my wife who enjoys the pool thoroughly enjoyed it at this complex including the pleasant company of other owners. We were so enthralled with the area of that we hardly did any extra driving around the island as we just hibernated it in the north west corner of Oahu The location is a bit out-of-the-way to drive to other areas so just be prepared for an hour drive or so to any other locations on the island that you wanna visit but other than that it was clearly a five-star stay for us. We will be back again!

The property was very well maintained and the views were awesome. We decided not to rent a car and use public transportation.. We still got to do the things we wanted to do but realized it would eat up more time but time was what we had. the drivers were very helpful in letting us know when to transfer to accomplish our mission for the day. Very nice and well equipped condo. The owner thought of just about everything that you might need. It is exactly as advertised. The management staff was responsive and good to work with. The pool was nice but not quite as warm as we would like. The nearby town did not have much appeal but there are several nice beaches very close by.

MAKAHA VALLEY TOWER - It's possible to come again
It's a very nice property with a good view. All Beach Parks on the west coast of OAHA will be arreached in 2 till 20 minutes by car.

Away from it all.
If you want to see Oahu, this is a good place as you absolutely need a car. The beach is a mile away but it is gorgeous and totally unlike the busy beaches of Waikiki. We found a great beachside patio restaurant with good food and reasonably prices called The Beach House at 604. We also found some great Thai food at a place called Spicy House. The pool was also nice at the condo complex but there are an enormous amount of rules. So be forewarned.

Very nice condo. View of the mountains was beautiful. Condo was very clean and had everything we might need while we were there. Only down part was that if you want to do any laundry you have to go down to the office and put money on a card.

Beautiful condo tucked in a peaceful area, worth the stay!
We enjoyed our stay at Randy's condo due to its cleanliness, safety, amenities, and beautiful view! We had a bit of trouble with the checking in process but communicated with Randy, who was helpful and understanding.
The kitchen had all of the equipment we normally use at home. Laundry was simple to do. Breakfast with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean - couldn't ask for better!
The condo is about a half an hour drive to Target/Cotsco (for stocking up on groceries) and other shopping centers (for dining). However, there are fast food restaurants and smaller grocery stores that are closer.
The main tourist attractions/Honolulu/North Shore/etc. take a 1-1.5 hour drive from the condo, but traffic wasn't too big of problem for us since we would leave early mornings.
Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would recommend this condo to our friends/family!

Excellent place to stay !!!
We were very fortunate to stay at Randy’s condo during our vacation in the Oahu’s Island. We felt very comfortable and safe while enjoying the picturesque surroundings and the amicable people of the place. Personally, I felt very satisfied with this election when I found my teen son sitting at the balcony, early in the morning and away from his phone, contemplating the sunrise over his ‘Little Makaha Jurassic Valley’… and this was just one side of the view.
The ‘Returning Home’ blended pretty well with every adventure we took every day of our stay.

Waianae
For starters, working with Randy from beginning to end was seamless. He provided regular communication and also called us when we checked in to ensure everything was alright. The unit is located on a beautiful property however the building is quite dated. We arrived in the evening and I must admit that the experience was frightening as the road to the property is poorly lit and the surrounding neighbourhood isn’t the greatest. The experience in daylight is different and thus I suggest you arrive when there’s still daylight. Randy’s unit has all the amenities you require and we especially appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. The unit was really clean however is dated and would require updates. The kitchen and bathroom appear to be from the 90’s and the bed and pull out couch were not very comfortable. I must admit that I have higher expectations and this unit could be just fine for some. The important fact is that we did feel safe. The pool and bbq area were great. The views were great and there’s a beach less than 1 mile from the property. If you plan on staying local to simply chill for a few days, this property is great however if you plan on exploring, be prepared to drive 1 hour minimum each way to most of the major attractions ie pear harbour, dole plantation, lanakai... There are several average dining options in the area as well as several drug stores and grocery stores. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would not return to the area primarily due to the location. Thank you Randy!!

Convenient stay outside the bustle of Honolulu with incredible views
Great location! It was in the “country” but convenient to everything. Not more than 70 min to anyplace on the island. Great views. Close to beaches. Condo had everything you could want and Randy was very helpful without being intrusive. Safe environment. Great internet!

Beautiful Condo, Marvelous Time
Our 3rd stay at Makaha Valley Towers and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Randy's condo !!
Clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook or barbecue. Especially appreciated the Brita water filter to fill our water bottles each morning.
Living room well set up to see the gorgeous mountain/ocean view as you sat on the couch watching TV or sitting at the table eating.
Extremely comfortable bed and pillows.
Had new beach chairs and umbrella that we used almost daily, plus boogie boards and snorkeling gear for those renters who do not bring their own.
All in all we so enjoyed our stay - like walking into your own home, everything in place, clean, well-kept and very inviting.
Would definitely come back to Randy's Condo as Makaha is our favorite spot on Oahu. Quiet and beautiful beaches.
Makaha Valley Towers has beautiful grounds (love those peacocks!), very nice pool and the barbecues are always clean and very well maintained. High marks for security and office staff. Always welcoming and helpful.

Spectacular
This is the third different VRBO I have rented here on Ohau and by far the best!! It is clean, very nice, peaceful location, great amenities, great view, and the owner is very professional. I highly recommend this location.

Beautiful condo with an amazing view!
This condo was absolutely delightful. The owners have tastefully decorated the condo with beautiful but comfortable furniture. The condo (including the kitchen) was well-stocked with everything a visitor would need while visiting the island. The Keurig single-serve coffee maker (along with a supply of coffee pods) was a nice treat each morning. The sweeping view from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean was simply stunning, and enhanced every meal we had at the condo. The owner, Randy, was very responsive and thoughtful from my first encounter through my last encounter. My elderly mother stayed with me and told me how much she enjoyed staying at the condo. We both appreciated the grab bars in the shower for her safety while showering. I love staying at the Makaha Valley Towers when I am visiting Oahu because of its beautiful location (at the base of the Waianae mountains yet still very close to the beach), the heated pool, well-kept grounds, and great security. I look forward to staying here again!

Great place to stay with beautiful view
My husband, my nephew and I rented from Randy for two weeks over Christmas.
He has just about everything you need for cooking meals, linens, and beach stuff.
Condo is very nice and was a good size for 3.
The view was beautiful, ever changing with the weather and time of day. I took many photographs. Will treasure them always.
My husband found security a bit on the Barney Fife side...therefore, the 4 stars.
If you are interested in going to Honolulu a lot this may not be the place for you. There is a bit of traffic in to getting there - will take over an hour each way. If you don't mind driving in traffic then you should be fine.
Ko Olina is a good place to go for dining and shopping. 30 minutes away.
The grocery store is about 10 minutes away.
All in All a good trip.. Thanks Randy for letting us stay at your beautiful condo.

This property in Waianae is truly a "hidden gem" that I would highly recommend to anyone!
The Christensens' condo in the Makaha Towers of Waianae is truly phenomenal! Randy and Teresa have obviously spent considerable effort paying attention to every possible detail making this an incredible vacation property. Any item that could possibly be needed or wanted is readily available. It is extremely "well kept" and inviting upon arrival. Very comfortable and in absolutely great condition. The views off of the lanai are incredible, and words just cannot describe the awesome tradewinds that circulate through the valley with the doors open! Randy was always available to quickly answer questions without delay but not many were needed, as everything was explained in perfect detail prior to my arrival. The property grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained with an exquisite swimming pool. I was particularly impressed with the common grilling area and ease of use. The drive from Honolulu airport was very easy and the local beaches were everything as advertised. I feel extremely lucky to have found this property available and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is truly a "hidden gem" that I did not expect to find. The overall quality is fantastic. If I had to grade it on a scale from 1 to 10, I would easily give it a 50! The Christensens' are making a wonderful property available, and their work to make it perfect is very obvious. I will most definitely be trying to rent this property again as my plans bring me to Oahu repeatedly in the future. This is by far the most impeccably kept property I have seen in all of my travels... Well done, Randy & Teresa!

We enjoyed our stay here
This condo was very nice. The bed was so comfortable that we got the name off of the mattress so we can get the same one. Kitchen has everything that you need to enjoy meals in & we enjoyed steaks on the grill using the BBQ area which had excellent & clean Weber grills. We enjoyed swimming every morning in the pool which was the perfect temperature. Owner was always accessible for any questions.

Amazing, comfortable, relaxing!
No words to describe how amazing this place is. If you don't want the crazy that comes with the city life and just want to enjoy nature and wonderful neighbors...this is the place. Randy has thought of everything!! Tupperware, sunscreen, snorkel gear, beach chairs...everything! Enjoyed meals out on the Lanai with a glass of wine soaking up the mountains and sounds of the peacocks. Super clean and comfortable. Felt like I was in my own home. We will be coming back to this place. The only one thing that disappointed, still 5 stars was a neighbor upstairs was smoking on the Lanai at night, security couldn't see, we could smell, so could not sleep with doors open. We are hoping this was a one time experience. Amazing, friendly and beautiful. The salt water pool makes for a great way to relax! Went snorkeling in Ko'Olina lagoons and had a great time. Aloha and we will be back!

Makaha Valley Towers is very beautiful! Loved the ocean view!
My family which included my husband, 19 month old toddler and I, stayed at the condo for 7 days. The area where the condo was located in Makaha Valley had a brushfire a few days before we arrived, but Randy contacted me a couple days prior to arrival with updates and made sure the property was not affected. Upon arriving late in the evening we were greeted by a friendly security guard who helped us with parking and gave us directions on where the unit was. The next day we saw how much the fire burned the surrounding landscape from the balcony and driving out from the property. With the condo it was very nice! We loved the kitchen and how it is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and we used it frequently along with the coffee pot. The closet was full of beach bags, chairs, umbrella, sand toys and towels which we took full advantage of!! The only downside was the beach bags and chairs zippers were rusted over except for one bag, but Randy provided everything needed for a day at the beach! The bed was comfortable enough for my family of 3! My only complaint was waking up to what sounded like a loud cat crying every morning. There are peacocks on the property which were a pretty sight. The pool was nice, a little small, but liked that it was a salted pool. Now as for the location of the property it is a little bit far from Honolulu as it took us at least 45 mins to an hour to and from town, but we didn’t mind the drive as we preferred less of a touristy spot. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay at the condo and the owner was very nice and accommodating. We would most likely stay again if we visited Hawaii again!!

AMAZING!!!
What a wonderful condo to spend a week at. Everything we needed was available to us and working with Randy was a pleasure. We had never been to Oahu or any Hawaiian islands so as an elderly couple this was a great experience. Everyone at the facility was friendly and very helpful, the grounds were well maintained and beautiful with flowers blooming all over the property. We really appreciated the private parking and elevators as we were on the 13th floor. Be assured if we ever do this again we will call Randy. Aloha, Fay Varden
