Location is good and comfortable plus free washing machine.
Lot of Whatsapp communication needed for payment, although response time is quick. For a short stay traveller without data, it's a bit of hassle.

This hostel was fabulous! Great location, clean, quick check in, my bed in room 9 was super comfy! I would definitely stay here again :)

I stayed for eight nights. It was very clean and comfortable. The cleaner, Jennifer, was very diligent. I liked that the place is colourful and I loved the natural light and view from the kitchen. There was a small fridge which I used every day, a water filter so there was no need to buy water, and an ironing board! The Staff in the office were friendly and helpful. I loved that it was so close to the Gadong Night Market. A short walk every night for my dinner and so much to choose from and very inexpensive.
If there is anyone in the neighbouring rooms, any noise carries through the walls. I was unfortunate enough to stay when there were also renovations happening downstairs so it was difficult to sleep in. There was one Indonesian man who works for the company who was staying in one of the rooms. He shamelessly smoked when the place is advertised as non-smoking. I felt quite uncomfortable with him staying there. The place is also a 5 Brunei dollar car ride away from the city centre so this added up after a few days.

This is an acceptable place to rest for a night, but no more than that.
Check in process is through Whatsapp with the owner and you have to prepare the exact money to put in the envelope. There was a cleaning lady at lunch time but she is very unfriendly. There are also a washing machine and a dryer, but only the washing machine is allowed to be used, so we could not use it at all because our clothes won’t be able to dry up that fast. The room doesn’t have any table, so we cannot work on our laptop at all. The toilet and bathroom are combined, so you should expect a wet toilet at all times. Furthermore, there is no lift at this property, so you have to carry your own luggage up and down 2 floors by yourself.
