Not what we expected

The location is nice, close to Tenjibashisuji shopping street. The staff were helpful. The blankets are very cozy.

Unfortunately, it was too cold outside to hang laundry and there was no large laundry rack in the room. We hung clothes all over the room but it took a day and a half to dry. A dryer would be nice and a foldable indoor clothing rack to dry clothing inside. The small rack hanging in the closet can't hold much. We were given one towel and one facecloth each for an 8 day stay. There were no dish towels in the kitchen either so we couldn't dry dishes. I didn't see this mentioned in reviews and wouldn't have booked if I noticed it. The train tracks run right next to the entrance to our suite. Not a block away or down the road but very close with just a thin alleyway in between. See pic. It runs all day and into the night, until around 1 am I think. It is loud and the room shakes a bit at times. For light sleepers, not ideal at all. Despite being unhappy about a few things and switching places, the staff was very kind and helpful and I appreciated that.

Good sized bedroom. Staff were kind enough to let us check in early so we could drop our bags otherwise nowhere to leave them.

Right next to the train tracks so incredibly noisy, you can hear them even when wearing ear plugs and they run for most of the night & start early. It does have a small kitchen which is helpful however nowhere to sit so you are eating on the bed if you want to eat in.
