We especially liked how spotless the accommodation was and we also noticed that the area the place is in is also really clean. they seem to ahve a good system to keep the neighbourhood clean. Good location near to public transport (buses). Easy to walk to the waterside. Loads of eating places and they seemed good value (compared to British restaurants and cafes). Good atmosphere in the streets. The streets near and around the property were pedestrianised. There are of course endless beautiful facades and buildings to admire.
The nearby beach (Playa la Malagueta) we thought was dirty - people seemed to have left lots of their rubbish behind. We wanted to go to what might have been a nicer beach called La Caleta but ran out of steam after quickly leaving that yucky first beach.

A really good, well appointed studio apartment with balcony in the Old Town near Mercado de Atarazanas and pedestrianised areas. On sunny days, the balcony is bathed in glorious sunshine. We were spoiled for choice of restaurants and shops in the area. It was only a 10 minute walk to the waterfront shopping and dining area which was lovely.
The apartment had all you needed for your stay from kitchen equipment to towels, toiletries & good A/C.
The communication from the apartment was responsive and informative.
