The hotel is located right in the historic centre of the town; it is very easy to find. It is located near to restaurants, shops and other facilities. The hotel has a free car park adjacent; although cannot be used on Saturdays due to the market. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with good facilities. The hotel is lovely and a good place to relax. It also has a restaurant, but we did not dine there.
We could not access the wifi in our room.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent – right in the city center, with everything within walking distance. The room also had air conditioning, which was very much appreciated in the summer heat.
Communication was a serious problem. We sent questions through Booking.com and received no response at all. On-site staff didn’t speak English — not even simple yes/no answers. Even though we had already paid for the booking in advance, we were still asked to pay again in cash on the spot. Fortunately, with help from a local interpreter and by contacting Booking.com support, we were able to resolve the issue — it turned out we did not actually need to pay any extra. What’s especially concerning is that friends of ours experienced the exact same thing at this property the previous year — this seems to be a recurring practice rather than an isolated incident.

L'emplacement au centre de Gourdon.
L'insonorisation intérieure de la porte de la chambre : bruits du couloir et du point-chaud rez-de-chaussée. Incroyable dans un établissement neuf, surtout à ce niveau de prix. Dommage... mais "réparable".
