Over all it’s a nice property and I will be staying here again in the futre 100%

Beautiful restaurant and surroundings

There was mould around the bathroom door Which we had to clean off and the bathroom door kept getting stuck trapping us inside

Friends get together

Staff lovely, rooms comfortable and clean.

There was a party in the room above us so we're kept awake most of the night with the noise.

Comfortable for a short stay.

Room was spacious and bed comfortable

Room was very cold when I arrived as the window was left open and no heating on. I asked to be moved but the other available rooms were also cold. I left the heating on all evening which seemed a waste but it warmed up well. The grout in the tiles in the bathroom needs mould remover, looks very dirty.

Absolutely NOT worth the £90 I paid. A real rip off for the quality.

Good location

It was grubby and faded. The skirting boards were filthy and carpet torn near the bathroom. Lots of scuffs on the walls and tea splatters near the bed. No plug sockets by the bed. I had to move from the original room because TV didn’t work, then in the next room a lightbulb was broken. There was no internet access with the wi fi. I had paid to upgrade to a room with what I thought was a sofa bed. It turned out to be a single bed. Why offer this upgrade to a single traveller?

Awful room. Worst stay I’ve ever stayed

awful room, very dated, carpet old, scruff tiles, I was in room 22. One of the bulb not working

Great value and location for this trip

Location was ideal. Rooms offered comfort, space and cleanliness

Reception, restaurant colleagues were all excellent. Breakfast experience poor.

Reception, dinner and restaurant manager was amazing. Very helpful as we had to phone in for food from the train as it was delayed by 90 minutes.

Breakfast host was unhelpful, functional at best, and lacked warmth or interest in people. Service was basic and ticked a box.

A comfortable stay in a good value hotel, close to the town’s main amenities

Comfortable, good value for money and conveniently located on the edge of Warrington town centre, a short walk from the main railway station. Breakfast, served in the adjacent pub, was tasty, plentiful and good value for money

Wonderful stay and great experience

The entire stay was amazing as our and the restaurant across the way looked after us as best they could and made the Santa and Christmas experience for our 2 boys magical

Cheap & cheerful accommodation which I always choose

Cheap & cheerful accommodation which I always choose if I can - ideal location for work. Everything so near & handy. Comfortable and usually quiet. Wifi is good. Breakfast & evening meal always great. Safe secure parking. Staff are always very friendly. Definitely my no. 1 choice of places to stay when I'm in Warrington.

The shower pressure has been pretty poor on my last couple of stays.

Loved it will be back again in the near future

Had a fantastic stay food is lovely and so is breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly especially oldie he is a lovely person and very professional at what he does. He should be made manager.

The hallways need cleaning and paint work could be better

It was OK, it was a means to an end.

Apparently the receptionist said our booking did not include breakfast, but our email from Booking.com stated otherwise. She moaned saying they would be losing £80 for 8 breakfast over the two days and sent a email to Booking.com stating this. But there was only 3 of us because the 4th guest didn't want to come last minute. So there was me, my husband and our 9 year old Foster daughter. So getting breakfast was an ordeal having to explain ourselves several times over the mix up.

The room, especially the bathroom was very dated and was really in need of a revamp. The shower head was fixed and not very good for a black child with braids who can't get her hair wet. She had a bath instead. But an adjustable shower head would of been good. The beds were comfy though.

An embarrassment to the UK hotel industry

The bed was clean. The car park free. The hotel staff friendly.

The most disgusting bathroom I've seen for years. I've ripped out better bathrooms in dilapidated house refurbishments! Check out was brief, no ask "was everything OK". Food in pub opposite was OK but the staff in there were mostly dire. The bar staff are the most inefficient crew I've ever had to stand and watch. Hopeless. The welcome at breakfast was "Room number". Would get a better greeting in Prison I reckon.

overpriced, extremely basic and no character hotel

The room was extremely basic but was clean. Bed was comfy.

there were no sockets next to the bed or around it. no wifi either or instructions on how to join a wifi hookup. for a hotel aimed at employees this is definitely something that should be available. I asked the receptionist for an iron and she handed me a stained iron with the wires damaged (this was the best condition iron they had). Considering the high price for the room and included no breakfast - would not recommend this hotel. Much better facilities in a travelodge/premier inn

Would go to the pub again but not stay in the hotel again.

The waterside pub was brilliant, food was really nice and very good value for money

The hotel side of the business needs renovation, the bathrooms had unacceptable amounts of mould and looking very tired.
