nothing waste of money not worth it

the website pics are difffent frim the time you see the room services us seriously bad and rooms are so small and way to expensive its more than a 5 star hotel rates

Lovely stay with many plusses; however, the incessant barking of dogs a real nuisance at night.

It is a very attractive building inside and out in a lively part of the old town. Close to the beach and its esplanade and many restaurants nearby. The room was well appointed in terms of fridge etc but small and nowhere nice to sit for the second person. Breakfast was very nice with enough choice for those not too eager to eat spicy food in the morning. Very good coffee from a machine.

We were initially given a room towards the back of the building but since we were staying three nights we asked for a lighter room. The first one had no real window and with heavy furniture there was no room left to move. So we moved to a bigger and slightly lighter room; however, it faced the street with sun blazing in during the day eg blinds had to be kept down and, even though the street had not much traffic at all, it was obviously a very popular night spot for roaming packs of dogs. The barking was very incessant and loud so there was no chance for me to stay asleep without earplugs. A room at the back probably much quiter.

overpriced for no service, tiny room. not worth it

it was so dirty, everything was falling apart in the room. the staff were ignorant, would almost ignore you when you enter and wouldn’t greet you unless you greeted them… phone didnt work, breakfast was cold, one day we had good coffee, next day was instant coffee…. staff wouldnt even help to arrange a day trip.

It was a perfect stay..no complaints

Again booking.com gave me a wrong quotation on my confirmation. Whereby I had to pay additional tax charges during chk out

Very comfortable and pleasing experience

Though Simple, very comfortable and centrally located. Parking could be arranged better. Food was also simple but tasty. I would definitely go back to the richmond. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Good location, courteous staff. Good room size.

Food spread during breakfast can be improved. Also dinner gets closed by 1030 PM .

Superb

The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of personalized attention. They specially prepared very early breakfast for me as I had to leave early for work, which was sumptuous and hygienically packed.
