The location is right in the center of old town. Very convenient! Close to everything!
Not enough counter space in bathroom. Also, very little hot water for shower during couple of nights.

Be sure to use the Pile Gate not the Buza Gate. We loved this hotel because it was incorporated into the medieval walls of Dubrovnik. We had room #1 and two of the walls were old medieval walls. With the stone walls, high ceilings, and wooden beams it felt like we were staying in a castle. The room was large. The kitchen was small but very well stocked, but we didn’t need it. There was a normal size refrigerator and a microwave and a stove. There was a good sized kitchen table and 3 chairs. There was no luggage rack however there were plenty of places to put your luggage up off of the floor. The bed was larger than a queen, closer to a king, and extra long, and was firm and comfortable. There were full sized End Tables on BOTH sides of the bed WITH accessible electrical outlets! There were more convenient outlets than many newer rooms we have stayed in. The A/C worked well. The bathroom was small but certainly adequate, with the usual European corner shower. The location was absolutely amazing in the middle of old town. There were windows but the view was of the roof next door, so it was very private. For the first 3 nights we were amazed at how quiet it was to sleep, whether day or night. However, the last night, noisy people moved into the room above us. But they quieted down around 11:30 pm (23:30). We kept the light on in the bathroom because that light switch also made a little bathroom fan run to take some of the heat and moisture out of the bathroom. The owner offered to have us picked up at the ferry port for 20 euros and we accepted. The driver was nice and informative and the owner picked us up where the driver left us off, at the Pile Gate and helped us through the maze of streets to our room on the few minutes walk to our room. He also helped us by carrying one of our bags up 3 short flights of very wide stairs up one floor to our room.
They only have shampoo not body wash, so we used shampoo for showering. A small price to pay for living in a medieval wall. The safe was too small to use, but we didn’t need one and just left our computers out and no one entered the room during the 4 nights we were there.

Excellent location, beautifully decorated, AC, WiFi, amazing shower. Very knowledgeable and helpful owner who organised an airport transfer option.

The location was great. Ismail was very helpful and shared lots of local knowledge.
Beds were a bit hard. Otherwise not too bad.
