L’accueil et la sympathie des propriétaires sont à souligner. La chambre était très propre et confortable. Nous avons également très bien mangé et avons apprécié les produits locaux servis au petit déjeuner. Enfin, nous avons pu mettre nos vélos en sécurité gratuitement. C’est un plus.

gehobene Küche mit entsprechenden Preisen. Lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall
zum Frühstück musste genaue Uhrzeit angegeben werden

Quick admin (took just minutes to check in and leave the key on the door at check out. The bakery nearby is nice (the hotel food was out of reach), Room deco is self designed, you like it or you don't, black and red in the room I got, that's the charm of indie places. The room facilities are in good order, they obviously followed their mood on design and didn't go for the effective cheapest.
Honestly disappointed on the narrow food hours and lack of options outside. The title "auberge" is poorly chosen with that in mind. There are obvious and hassle-free solutions they should be thinking off by themselves.
-- No dinner service after 9 PM, it's unusually early and I did not see this in the hotel description on the site at booking time. Trafic delays so I called for arrival 21:30. Good That I did: I enquired about the restaurant and the answer was just no more service after 9PM. They did not offer me to reserve a cold meal or anything that doesn't even require a cook. => I ended up taking a last minute salad on a depleted motorway food joint. Frustrating when I had selected the hotel for it's on-site food options. There still were lots of people still eating and being served hot dishes when I arrived eventually at 22:00 after my road-side break. I expected it, but it just made the whole "no customer after 9PM" policy look even more clueless on their side.
-- Same story for breakfast - no solutions before 8. Coffee machine in the room seemed all they could think of. I had to be the one enquiring for any early bakeries nearby. Turns out there actually was, 100m away, a nice bakery serving coffee and hand-made croissants - good of me to ask, cause I'm tired of motorway eateries if I take the steps to book an actual auberge.
The hotel did meet my other request for early check-out and invoice, and on the plus side the admin was very simple and took us no time at check-in. Sound-proofing not the best and not the worst. Overall the room felt marginally over priced for the location, it should have been somewhere below 100 eur on average comparison.
