Bella Rosa hotel Cyprus

Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Clean room and warm and clean pool. Very reasonable drinks Beer and wine).

The hotel is a little dated but this didn't detract from our stay.

Convenient location for the purpose I was visiting. Costas was very polite and helpful.

No hand soap. Wall sockets looked unsafe. No elevator, but there weren't many stairs and they carried my bag at the check in. Parking was tight and there wasn't a free parking spot for me, I had to park outside the premises but there is a lot of space there.

Great value for money, was excellent, the owner and staff again excellent, always on hand to help. It was the break I needed, a nice relaxing place to be. A BIG thank you to Costas and his team for creating a great memory ❤️

A tip would be to hire a car and explore the fantastic places on offer. When arriving at the Airport, I certainly would "NOT" use the taxis outside. I arrived late after landing at 11.30 pm. I had nothing pre-booked, assumed it would be easy, it most certainly wasn't. I asked a small group of Taxi drivers, who was stood with a man taking bookings on a clipboard. could I possibly book a taxi please? They begun to talk amongst each other and started sniggering. I knew by their demeanour that this certainly didnt feel right. One of the drivers was allocated to drive me in what was a wreck of a black van/cab. He started to drive away, but began to look confused. He then began to drive very erratically, in the complete darkness, taking risks whilst holding his mobile phone in one hand and trying to set up his Sat Nav whilst driving. I knew my instincts were absolutely right. The journey was a trip from hell. We finally arrived at the hotel and unloaded my luggage. Here comes the interesting bit, I asked him what I owed. He began to tap a mini Calculator and showed me. I was staggered, 90 Euros for the Journey ????? I spoke to various people and they all said, it should have been more like 40 Euros, possibly up to a maximum of 50 because of how late in the evening it was ? These people need reporting to the authorities, they stand outside an International Airport treating people in this fashion, who have just arrived on the beautiful island of Cyprus. Be VERY, VERY CAREFUL. If possible, get a bus transfer or better still, book a rental car prior to arriving through one of the large companies. Finally, I would like to say, I have travelled extensively more so when I served in the military, nothing usually bothers me. that night I feared for my life sat in that Taxi. Never, ever again!!!!!!

If you are looking for affordable stay in this location I recommend this place. Yes it is a bit outdated and the cleanliness could improve but for a few nights its perfectly fine. I personally loved the location with fruit tree plantations, close to pretty beaches and bus stop to get around. The staff were kind and breakfast was great. It’s honestly not so bad if your standards aren’t that high. I mean in a location full of modern villas you get what you pay for.

The cleanness of the dishes was questionable, the appliances were old and overall more care could be given to the room.
