Délicieux repas la veille pris en commun en compagnie de notre hôte et ses autres clients (ce repas simple et bon franquette à commander à l'avance est hautement recommandé), fait avec produits frais locaux. Copieux petit déjeuner avec des produits fait-maison. Sympathique accueil. Les jeunes ont apprécié la grande tente au fond du champ tandis que les parents ont apprécié chambre annexe à la maison.
La tente est un peu éloigné des sanitaires et très éloigné de la chambre des parents, alors besoin de venir équipé d'une lampe de poche. La clé glisse trop facilement dans la poche ; j'ai dû faire un aller-retour du Puy de Fou pour la rendre. Elle serait mieux sur une porte clé plus imposante.

La situation géographique, l'environnement local, l'accueil très sympathique, le confort de la chambre, le petit déjeuner complet préparé maison, le repas avec l'hôte qui nous a fournit beaucoup d'informations sur l'environnement et sur l personnalité positive des Vendéens.

Nice location close to Puy du Fou park
Traveling with three kids and a dog, we felt very unwelcome by the hosts. Got scolded on our way for late arrival (20:30), the hostess did not even show up to welcome us (neither did she when we were leaving the place). The hosts agreed to keep our dog during the day of our visit of the Puy du Fou park for additional charge, but the space they proposed for this purpose was a windowless closed block with no access to the outside (unlike what was agreed). So when the dog started barking inside, we were told that they could not eventually keep her for the day. As no last minute solution could be found, one of us (our teenage son) had to stay in with the dog, his ticket to the park, the late night show and the dinner were not reimbursed. We got the feeling that, although the domaine positions itself as a place accepting dogs, those are not really wanted there.
Although the place looked clean and the bedding was comfortable, the downstairs area reserved for breakfast smelled of cigarettes.
No amount of homemade jams can replace human touch, a smile, and warm welcome.
Will never return and never recommend this place for friends and family.
