Eden Yoga & Wellness Resort

The location was great - the property was up on a hill overlooking the bay. It was close enough to town (a 10-minute cab ride or 45-minute walk) but still peaceful and removed from the hustle and. bustle of the town. The meals were freshly prepared with healthy ingredients. Nothing fancy, but tasty and filling. The yoga shala was lovely with a beautiful water view. My bungalow was rustic but comfortable. I was a bit worried about not having AC, but the breeze from the water, as well as the two standing fans and ceiling fan, provided adequate airflow. The staff were kind and helpful.

The property is alcohol free, which I understand caters to the folks who are there on a yoga retreat. Not everyone is there for that purpose though, so it would be nice to offer beer and wine for sale. I would have enjoyed a glass of wine while sitting on the balcony of my bungalow.

Das Konzept dieser Anlage ist sehr besonders. Sobald man das verstanden hat, wird der Aufenthalt toll. Eigentlich eine Yoga-Oase, aber wir waren als "normale" Reisende dort. Alle Unterkünfte sind Holzhütten, mit Holzmöbeln - vor den Fenstern funktionierende Fliegengitter, über dem Bett ein wirklich großes Moskitonetz. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich nett. Die Anmeldung erfolgt per online check-in. Und dann sollte man wirklich alle bereit gestellt Informationen lesen - hilft beim Verstehen des Konzeptes - und bei den Angeboten.

Duschwasser leider meistens kalt, WLan nicht immer funktionierend. Das Frühstück ist besonders und für junge Yoga-Begeisterte-Wellness-Gäste genau das richtige. Wenn man aber "richtige" Milch im Kaffee möchte, dann wird man leider enttäuscht. Die passt wohl nicht ins Konzept.

Every thing was perfect, staff are all so friendly and professional, the facilities are perfect and authentic, the setting is magical.
