I loved having the washer and dryer in the place as I think we managed to throw in a load each day and came home with clean clothes. (that is great for me being a working Mom). The grounds are gorgeous and your neighbors were all kind and helpful. We had fun sitting in the hot tubs with them as they shared their beer and talked of the many great things to see and do on the island. We also found it easy to find our way around the island. This condo had enough room for 4 adults and a teen. My niece was thrilled to have the upstairs loft to herself, including her own bathroom and TV! The resort property is beautiful and not one pool was overcrowed. The entire group enjoyed the rooftop, enjoying the slight breeze, and the beautiful skies. The unit could do with newer bath towels and washcloths. The kitchen lacked dish towels to dry dishes, due to no dishwasher; we hand washed dishes. There are no teflon coated or any other non stick frying pans/pots, which made it difficult to fry eggs, bacon, or pancakes. No cookie sheet or baking sheet for the oven. The ice cube maker didn't work well and we were often without ice! The host, Hector was easy to communicate with. The location is NE on the island and within a 15-20 minute ride from San Juan airport. Would recommend this condo, especially a large group for privacy/me time.

Property has several pools and lovely beach. The apartment was fully equipped. We were close to grocery store, restaurants, and other facilities. The host was great, providing lots of information as requested. It’s been a really positive experience which was enjoyed by all family members.

This was our first time in PR and brought all 3 of our kids (7-18) First just fyi this area has little to no restaurants that are within a 2-5 minute drive. Most if not all are 15-30 minute drive which we thought was completely a non issue and found any and all variations of food within 30 minutes including bars etc. We loved being able to see ALL aspects of PR from the super high end 5 star areas to the more residential areas and loved seeing all aspects of the culture. We went over 3 kings weekend and were able to experience the Holiday from a more rural perspective rather than the commercial tourist region. At no point did we ever feel unsafe and the experience from horses all over in the roads to the parades that went nightly. We lost power one time for about 5 minutes and was also a non issue. The resort is great for kids with plenty to do from 5 pools, as close to a private beach as you can get, mini golf, volleyball, etc. Mr. Hector was great and answered any and all questions promptly as well as made sure we knew how to get around, in and out of the resort, etc. There is an incredible 5 star golf course (Bahia) 4 minutes from the resort that is one of the best places I have ever played. We did the El Yunque rainforest tour, Old San Juan tour, golfed, Casa Bacardi, and drove several places in PR. Again at absolutely no time did we ever feel unsafe and we are from a small town in WI. This is a perfect place to relax and have a base camp to explore PR! Thank you Hector

We had a fabulous time at this resort. We took full advantage of all the amenities…pools, lazy river, beach volleyball, mini golf & jacuzzis. The rooftop access was amazing. We had our breakfast up there every morning. And since we were there over New Years Eve we saw the absolute BEST fireworks display that we have ever seen from the rooptop. Nothing can beat seeing fireworks in every direction.
We had 1 issue where the water was shut off by the water company but we contacted Hector & he came right over & got the back up set up for us.
The water slide & all the water fountains in pool areas do not work during the week, but on Sat & Sun when they were on we took full advantage of them.
We would 100% stay at this condo unit again. We loved that it was out of the hustle & bustle of the big city.

The apartment was comfortable but we lost power and water two of the 7 nights we were there. And we weren’t made aware that we were renting a third story apartment. We had our elderly mom traveling with us and the stairs were a very difficult for her.

Location was perfect close to old san juan and just minutes away from El Yunque. Walmart and mall is about 15 minutes away. Condo was clean and spacious, had everything we could possibly need. In his linen closet he has life vest for the little ones, volley ball, golf clubs and ball, behind the stairs he has beach chairs, and cooler. Like we didnt need to buy anything but food. AMEN for that. Lots to do on property but we had out of property events plan. My only complaint was the lazy river wasnt clean, but that's not the condo owners fault. I did reach out to him about something and he responded right away and was on top of it, he's very attentive unlike other rental property managers. Thank you Hector for all your recommendations and for providing us a great place to make family memories.

I would give this property 4.5 stars! We had a wonderful stay here. There are 3 improvements I would make: 1. Add a dishwasher!
2. More reliable internet
3. The ability to cool the living room and kitchen below the 80 degree setting
We loved all of the space in the unit, we had dinner up on the roof, the washer and dryer are a blessing for all the bathing suits and towels, we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella as well as the floats and basketball that are in the unit. We enjoyed so many beaches in the area and when we wanted to stay on the property we had the Aquatika beach and all of the pools! We enjoyed the location away from the city and so close to the rain forest and the beaches. We had a wonderful vacation!

Loved the resort! Planty of rest and relaxation. LOVED the beach, poolsand partots. Condo was clean, wuiet and the upper deck was my FAVORITE place. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun and ocean breezed. Plenty of individual space for our children. There were 5 of us. Mr Davila was attent6and quick to respond to our questios. We DEFINITELY would stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Aquátika vacation rental in the enchanting destination of Puerto Rico, and overall, it was a delightful getaway that deserves a high rating.
The location of the rental was awesome. Nestled in a near serene coastal area, it offered picturesque views of the sparkling blue ocean and lush tropical surroundings. Waking up to the gentle sound of coquis and enjoying the soothing sea breeze was a true treat for the senses.
The accommodations provided a comfortable and inviting space to relax and unwind. The interior was clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Puerto Rico. The furnishings were cozy, and I found everything I needed for a pleasant stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.
One highlight of my experience was the outdoor amenities. The many pools. Lazy River and beach access provided a refreshing oasis, perfect for a dip to cool off after a day of exploration. It provided a peaceful retreat and added a touch of goodness to my stay.
Furthermore, the host, Hector was attentive and responsive. He promptly addressed any inquiries or requests I had, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. His friendly and accommodating nature added to the overall positive experience.

At first i was nervous because i was not familiar with the area but i am so happy with this choice. The location was perfect. The privacy. The space for the apartment was omg beautiful. My family felt like it was home. And the host response time was great. I hope to visit and use this exact location/apartment again.

We had a nice time at Aquatika. We didn't want the hustle and bustle of the more touristy beach towns and this resort was quiet and low-key--exactly what we were looking for. The unit was very clean and Hector was a great host--always very responsive and I felt that it was important to him that we enjoy our time in PR.
As others have said, there isn't much around the resort so you need a car. The convenience store at the entrance to the resort had the necessities but you will still likely need a bigger market to get all of the food that you need for a multi-day stay. There are a lot of options within a 10-15 minute drive and if you head towards Rio Grande or Luquillo, there are tons of restaurants, food markets, etc. Rosa's Pizza is about 10 minutes away from the resort and it was good--there is also a small market right next door.
The area is a bit rough and while I wouldn't walk around in Loiza, I never felt unsafe at the resort. And honestly, there isn't really any reason to walk around the town--its just residential. If you plan to spend a lot of time in San Juan, this is not the place for you. But if you want to explore the eastern side of the island, it is very centrally located and easy to get to El Junque, Fajardo, etc.
We loved the private beach and the pools. I was disappointed that the children's pool was closed but I will say that finding space at one of the other 4 pools was very easy and we were alone in the pool half the time we were there.

The appartment was nice and comfortable and very clean. Access to pool and beach was nice. Area is some what ofa food desert as there are really no restaurants open during the week (weekend is a different story) so come prepared to cook if your plans were to have access to restaurants and local food within walking distance. Other then the lack of access to restaurants the place is great and the host Hector was vey responsive.

This apartment was great for our family. The loft area and roof top deck were nice bonus spaces to hang out. You need to rent a car if you stay here, there are no ubers outside of San Juan. The kids pool area is under construction, the other pools were nice. The beach was close by and not crowded at all.

Area is rough around property. Police officers told us to leave area after leaving gated area. Said lots of crime. Also power went out twice! No air conditioning. No electricity! Yikes!

After booking, we received an email from the host advising the location in the listing was incorrect. This property is actually in Loiza not San Juan.
One of the main reasons for booking this property was the waterpark. Upon arrival we discovered the waterpark was under construction/closed. This information should have been disclosed at time of booking.
The complex has a couple other pools and a lazy river which were open however one had broken coverings over vents in the pool which could result in injury. There is also a nice little beach. The complex is gated and quite safe and has a few small children's parks which are in good shape.
One of the biggest issues with this property is the daily power outages lasting hours. On 2 occasions over 12 hours each. This results in no AC, internet or TV. We found it strange that power was on at buildings on either side of this complex when the power was out for us.
While there are posted strict conditions regarding noise at the complex, this is not supervised and several nights saw parties and loud music into the early hours of the morning.
Regarding the specific condo unit, it is in need of attention. The main AC unit screeches when it starts up, lasting sometimes as long as 10 minutes. During power outages, the smoke detectors chirp continuously. We discovered during one of the power outages, of the 4 smoke detectors, only 2 were functional. The window blinds are very old and difficult to maneuver. Would not recommend.

Cleanliness was good, nice set up! A balcony area to enjoy a beautiful sunrise view! Property had plenty activities to do with family and a private beach which wasn’t crowded. Hector’s place had everything we needed for our stay!! Would highly recommend!

Having a great beach was very important to us. I’m so glad we chose this location, away from the city. The private beach was amazing, not overcrowded at all and Hector is the *best* host I’ve ever had. Communicates very well and also ensured our stay was great. Would definitely come back. We came to Puerto Rico on a girls trip. The property was perfect for us. Close to the rain forrest, beaches and San Juan it offered us many options for activities. Hector the property manager was very responsive to every question we had. Thank you, we would book this property again.

My three kids (18+) and I had a wonderful and relaxing time at Hector's place. There was more than enough room to spread out and come together in the large dining room to eat and hangout. The resort is stunning and having direct access to the beach was our favorite part. The resort is clean, beautiful, serene. The top balcony of Hector's place allows visibility to the ocean and mountains. I recommend a nearby grocery store (about 15 minute drive) to Ralph's Food Warehouse. It's also in the middle of a shopping strip and my daughter and I did some retail shopping for really low prices next door. There are many restaurants to choose from as well. Our favorite was Ekelekua in Rio Grande. The food and service are amazing! For a night in, we ordered pizza from D&D pizza which was our favorite take-in. We ordered the family special for just $25 and was delivered promptly. The staff are friendly and the pizza was the best! I loved waking up to ocean and having a choice of several pools. We also played basketball, volleyball, and mini golf. The outlet mall isn't far either. About a 15/20 minute drive. We will definitely be visiting again!

We arrived to inop A/C's in living and family rooms. The downstairs A/C was fixed on our arrival date. The other wasn't able to be replaced until the day before we left (8 days later). Also, many people in the pools at once while we were there. My son ran into a turd one night in the pool. No idea who would do that. Otherwise, very roomy apartment. Definitely need a car to get around the island. Friendly island.

The location of the property was perfect for what we wanted to do. The space was as listed and the rooftop terrace was wonderful with a view of the mountains and the ocean. The pools were great, although the water features (water slide) are only in during the weekends. Hector was very helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay!

The resort is very beautiful and clean. Our penthouse was very nice, the girls loved the rooftop terrace! The private beach was AMAZING, best place on earth, hands down!

Check in was simple, the condo was great…especially the rooftop terrace which had a view of mountains on one side and the ocean could be Sean in the other. We spent every evening enjoying the breeze off the ocean up on the terrace. Unfortunately there was a fire at one of the electric plants when we were there and we lost power along with a majority of the island. This condo complex did not have generator backup but the owner was fairly prepared. We had a few battery operated fans, flashlight and battery operated lanterns and a gas fueled coleman stove. All of this was helpful. It was a challenge keeping food in a cooler but there was one available that kept ice pretty good. There was a nice cool ocean breeze that made sleeping without air conditioning tolerable. The private beach was quite nice….there was never more than 15 people on it at one time! Hector, the condo owner was very responsive and responded to texts right away. Overall a great vacation.

The condo was comfortable and very well equipped. At first, it seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere, but it was actually quite convenient to everything we wanted to check out (Old San Juan, El Yunque National Park, kayaking, etc.). The rooftop patio was an amazing place to start and end each day! Bonus: Hector is a very friendly and helpful host.

We would Definitely recommend this property, but before you visit, you should know that the water park activities are not functioning during the weekdays. My kids were disappointed with this. Also, there were only a couple lounge chairs at the pools and the pool area concrete is failing, so you’ll need to bring your own chairs, don’t plan to sit on the ground. In addition, there are no public restrooms, so plan to make frequent trips back to your room. None of these would keep us from going back, but wish we had know. This!

Really appreciate the fully stocked kitchen and all of the space. The beach was wonderful and the pools and lazy river nice, but some of the pools were in need of repair. The closest to our unit shut down and was being repaired for most of our visit. property manager was super responsive and helpful. The unit itself was a bit dated and the main shower tub did not drain properly. I fully believe the property manager will get it fixed. Appreciated the Mercado close to the property which had good selection of food for the week. LOVE Puerto Rico and can’t wait to come back.

Safe gated place to stay and great warm pools and beach access. Near El Yunke and many other great aventure areas. Must go to LA PARILLA restauran in Luquillo. Great food and service :) Enjoy Puerto Rico.

Our family celebrated Christmas this year at Hector’s place and had an absolutely wonderful time. He was a great host and we’d be delighted to stay with him again the next time we’re in Puerto Rico!
