We were happy with the location and the size of the apartment, in central Marais, close to restaurants, bars, public transport and touristic sights.
The owner and/or agent wants to send us instructions using Booking messenger, but the web links are deleted (by booking?) before they arrive to us. We reported that back to the agent, but they continued to send us messages which did not reach us. Most critical was the door code and the finding the key to the apartment. The only way to get this essential information was to share my personal email details. This is not a correct method of communication.
In addition we were bombarded with emails concerning a late check out that would cost us some EUR 60, or more.
Lastly the pictures presented on Booking of the apartment have been edited to look much fancier than reality and these do not reflect the actual interior of the apartment.
The apartment is located on the second floor that can be reached by a relative steep staircase. Be aware that as there are close by various bars and restaurants which are open until late; therefore there is quite some street noise if you keep the windows open at night.

Good location in marais. 2 bedrooms plus sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. AC in main living room and upstairs. Washer/dryer. Blackout curtains in living room. Equipped kitchen.

Great location and easy self check-in
The apartment is quite small but acceptable. Cleanliness could be much better — there was a lot of dust and dirt. The first night someone in the building was smoking, and the smell came strongly into the bathroom and didn’t go away for next nights. My message to the service on WhatsApp was ignored. The noise from the street was also very noticeable.
