Located in Lake Wylie, this lovely house for $385 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. sleeps 10 3200 sf home on main channel of lake wylie in charlotte (steel creek area). 20 min from uptown charlotte(16.8 miles from the square uptown) ! IDEAL for families.. No parties! 10 guests MAX 2 miles from I-485 Log cabin but very high end. 3 BR 3.5 bath. Upstairs is large open vaulted ceilings with great room DR and kitchen MBR is up./ downstairs is another den, bar, 2 BR and 2 full bath.. house has CITY WATER AND CITY SEWER, ( NOT septic and well. ) NO PETS,/ PARTIES/ NO SMOKING $500 charge if pets brought even briefly. $500 charge if more than 10 people staying overnite unless pre arranged . New Nat Gas firepit. in back and real log firepit on driveway side. New airfryer/griddle. Had same rental prices since we started in 2020 house is fully furnished . Home is only 2 miles from 485 on exit 4 so easy access to uptown any other area of Charlotte 1).MBR is KING bed,2) one BR down is queen plus 2 bunks ,3) and 3rd BR has queen plus 2 bunks MBR is up and 2 BR and 2 full baths below(bedrooms are on oppiste side of house) Hardwoods thru-out. berewick shopping center plus 2 new shoppings ctrs all within a mile ; and many restaurants 1 mile away if into fishing 3 Christmas trees on pylons deep down for "reef" to attract fish plus theres green fishing light and minnow tap to attract fish with food All New half ping pong table, in, plus Darts, cornhole, Bucket ball, horsehoes pit, chinese checkers, ladder ball, and many other new games ,, Electric football, mini ping pong, and bumper pool already in.. Canoe and a kayak.

This property was a fantastic fit for our family vacation. I cannot speak highly enough about every aspect of our stay here from the location, to the home itself, to the thoughtfulness of the host. Our family will certainly be planning another visit to this property and I encourage anybody else considering the vacation rental to book it hastily. You will not be disappointed! The photos in the listing do not do justice to this magnificent property.

This is our second stay at Sawmill and it’s our absolute favorite place to be away from home. The pictures do not do this home justice. It’s beautiful and so cozy. The home has all the appliances you could ask for. We absolutely love this place and plan to book here every summer, it’s become a family tradition and we couldn’t be more excited!

This cottage is amazing, great view , clean and spacious enough to accommodate our family of 10 , The host was very comunicative and prompt to answer any question we had. We really enjoyed the games, the outdoors, canoeing , jacuzzi ,

The photos don’t do this property justice! Everything was absolutely beautiful and the space is MUCH larger than it appears in the photos. We were a group of 10 from ages 2 to 70 and there was ample room for everyone. The setting is gorgeous with an awesome back deck and dock. The owner has lots of activities there for every age group to enjoy. The owner was also fantastic, quick to answer any questions we had. The location is great, lots of amenities and activities close by. Only 30 mins to downtown Charlotte but feel like you’re a lifetime away. We have stayed in many VRBOs and so often you get there and there is literally one roll of toilet paper and one dishwashing tan, Bill has the placed pretty stocked, we of course used what we had packed but it was a nice change to see that we wouldn’t have run out of toilet paper our first day there if we hadn’t! Also plenty of blankets for those cold nights! Book this cabin, you won’t regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this spot for some year-end quiet time and planning. This is a combo mountain cabin/ lake house. Fun decor with bears and rustic wooden beams you'd see in a cabin, but truly beautiful views and all the fun of lake house activities... Plus all that Charlotte offers close by? Perfect!
Host was easy to reach. It was just two of us this stay, but it's definitely laid out for families or a group of friends. Good combo of space and privacy.

My husband, four children, and I needed somewhere to get away for a weekend before I went back to work. We found this gorgeous house and ended up getting to stay! My two oldest boys caught their first fish on real hooks (little blue gills) and my husband ended up hooking a monster! A 41 inch long flathead catfish!
The home was beautiful and checking in and checking out was super simple. The owner was very helpful and had a great sense of humor! We hope to visit again in the future! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. Three couples everyone had their own room and bath.
Our daughter lives close by and was able to bring her pontoon boat up to our dock.
Close to everything. Harris Tetter, Outback Steakhouse and many more restaurants. Shanes Barbecue had great peach cobbler which you can take to go.
We loved sitting out on the many decks. The view was beautiful.
Bill was so nice to work with.

Absolutely perfect
Words can't describe this beautiful lake retreat. From the moment you are in contact with Bill, he makes you feel welcomed before you even arrive. Bill is the most generous, nicest & accommodating host you could ask for. He literally makes you feel like this is your home. The home is absolutely breathtaking with beautiful views and everything you will need entertainment wise. The views of the lake are mesmerizing. There are 3 sitting areas outside. Great value, gorgeous lake views
View was spectacular! The house was as expected and didn't disappoint. Bill, the owner, helped with anything we needed via phone. Many papergoods were already there, check before you go shopping. Kids swam in the lake almost daily. Minimal boat traffic,very safe. Only thing I could say to help others during their stay is keep in mind the steps to the dock...100, we counted. This kept some of our guests from walking down but they were happy sitting on the expansive deck watching. Internet was not 100% all the time. We would stay here again in a heart beat. In fact many friends have already inquired about the place. Very convenient to stores. Grubub, instacart...etc. close to Charlotte so Amazon had 2 hour to 1 day shipping, prime members of course. Parking was plenty. Saw herds of deer.

Great property. Location is ideal to be both on the lake and within 15 minutes of the major areas of Charlotte. Bill was incredibly responsive and checked in on us several times. The owners do have quite a sense of humor as you will see throughout the house. Will definitely look to rent the property again on our next trip to Charlotte.

Spectacular Lake Getaway!!!
Sawmill is a grand place for a family getaway. The views of Lake Wylie and the Blue Ridge are magnificent! Especially at Sunset. The home is new and lovely. It's so comfortable and has all the amenities one would want to entertain a small or large group. The downstairs playroom was a massive hit for our kids and their friends. The upstair outdoor veranda provided a peaceful place to watch the activities on the dock and in the water. Love, love, love this place. The owner is exceptional at taking care of any and all concerns. We plan to come back over and over as long as it is available as a rental. Our family and friends absolutely love it!
