Our room was very nice. Old fashioned but homely and comfortable. Our second room whilst nice was more basic. Our room had a tv, the second room did not. Our room had a partial nice view, the second room overlooked a work area housing old tools. Breakfast was nice, but.....
Breakfast. A pleasant choice but with the amount of flies really needed constant coverage, not zero coverage. . The small pot of jam on our table was very mouldy, exchanged with a huff and a second pot thrust on me from a cupboard, not fridge. The table after some guests had left was not fully cleared and replenished, just the dirty bits removed and fresh added. The bread seemed fresh, the fruit borderline.
Guest house arrival. After passing some glorious houses, its a slight sadness to see this guest house located in a large hollow, surrounded by tall trees. Not the mountain views we were hoping for. No real views at all.
The hosts. Not exactly brimming with enthusiasm or smiles. Accidentally going through a private door my father received a most unpleasant dressing down, instead of a simple and polite, sir, wrong door, this way please.
Of all my accommodations im not convinced I would choose to stay here again. I am grateful however for the host to offer us a room rather than the caravan we booked. At the time of booking the only option available.

Location is good. Very quiet, fresh air, ideal for making excursions. Breakfast is very good.
Old-fashioned room, not good smell.
