ELIVI Skiathos

Modern , very friendly staff, good restaurants, food was excellent, super roof to bar with panoramic views.

The Elivi is located quite a long way from Skiathos town. We found the best way to get to town was by the local bus which ran every 10 minutes or so from bus stop with 3 minute walk from the hotel. Taxis seem to be few and far between in Skiathos, need to book one 30 mins in advance and they are expensive. Koukounaries beach is very busy and touristy so we used the much nicer hotel beaches .

Perfect location, perfect concept

More local food for breakfast would be perfect choice, especially cheeses or home-made pies

Excellent location, beautiful beaches, clear sea, relaxing views. Have options of four sandy beaches. As it was towards the end of the season maybe, it was easy to find sun beds. If you want to rest and relax its a great hotel. Staff was always very helpful and friendly.

Not easy to get to town centre unless you rent a car.

Air conditioning was poor in our bedroom and not working properly. We kept having short power cuts. The staff had a “can’t do” attitude not a “can do” attitude. For example, they said they couldn’t do a Greek salad in the Mediterranean restaurant at lunchtime as it wasn’t on the menu. But had all the ingredients. Breakfast service was almost non existent. People were getting teas & coffees themselves & clearing away their own plates. Pots of tea would arrive with no milk or teaspoons and only half filled with hot water. Nearly all staff in all areas of the hotel seemed young & inexperienced. Few obvious managers or supervisors around keeping an eye on things.
