Newly renovated 100 sqm Non smoking apartment in the upper borough of Gruenwettersbach. Living room and 2 bedrooms with direct access to the terrace with garden, hallway, bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. Incl. Sheets and towels. Shopping right in town: health food store, bakery, butcher, ice cream, banks. Good restaurant (Gasthof Tannweg) in place. The city center can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Bus directly to the city about 20 minutes. In a few minutes walk from our apartment a large forest area or country lanes with orchards. Free WiFi. Everything for a perfect stay in Karlsruhe!

Ruhige Wohnlage in abwechslungsreicher Umgebung
Guter Ausgangspunkt für Autoreisende, um den Kraichgau zu erkunden. Die Region wird auch das badische Tessin mit vielen Wanderrouten und Sehenswürdigkeiten bezeichnet. Die Region ist auch für gehobene Gastronomie und einen guten ÖPV bekannt. Die Städte Heidelberg und Heilbronn sind in weniger als einer Autostunde zu erreichen.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und verabschiedet. In der Nähe gibt es fußläufig mehrere Bäckereien und eine Bio-Metzgerei. Ausgedehnte Wanderungen und Mountainbiking sind von der Ferienwohnung aus möglich.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut und großzügig. Leider eigneten sich die Sitzmöbel nicht so sehr zum Sitzen. Sie waren unbequem. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht richtig. Den Ton konnte man nicht verstehen.

Empfehlenswerte Wohnung im Raum Karlsruhe
Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz und war sehr sauber. Die vollständig ausgestattete Küche hat einen großen Eßtisch. Die beiden Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer liegen zur Gartenseite und haben jeweils eine Tür zur Terrasse. Das Bad hat eine schöne Dusche und ist ausreichend groß. Die Wohnung liegt am Ortsrand in äußerst ruhiger age auf einer Anhöhe, von wo aus man direkt längere Wanderungen in Richtung Ettlingen durch Streuobstwiesen und Wald unternehmen kann. Ausflüge z.B. nach Baden-Baden, in den südlichen Schwarzwald oder ins Elsaß sind gut machbar. Ein Auto ist notwendig und kann auf der Straße geparkt werden. Die Gastgeber wohnen in den Oberggeschoßen,aber respektieren die Privatsphäre, zu der auch der eigene Wohnungseingang beiträgt. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit einem Rolladen, was Herr Meyer umgehend behoben hat. Wir würden diese Wohnug wieder buchen.

Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und hat eine gute Anbindung. Bei dem heißen Wetter haben wir die kühlen Räume und den kleinen Garten sehr genossen.

Wir wurden von den Eigentümern freundlich begrüßt und in die Besonderheiten der modern ausgestatteten Wohnung eingewiesen. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Wir konnten uns bei schönem Wetter auch auf die Terrasse setzen und den schönen Garten genießen. Die Wohnung können wir sehr empfehlen.

Sehr schöne große Unterkunft
Wir haben 4 Nächte in der Ferienwohnung übernachtet. Diese war sehr sauber sauber und bietet genügend Platz für max. 4 Personen. Der Ort ist auch sehr idyllisch. Wandern kann man im sehr nahen Wald- und Obstgebiet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wunderschöne FeWo , gleich am Ortsrand, inmitten schöner Natur und in einer Viertelstunde ist man in der schönen Stadt Ettlingen mit ihren hervorragenden Freibad. Karlsruhe ist auch gleich um die Ecke. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber!

Schöne Wohnung mit großen Räumen
Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend an einer Abschüssigen Straße. Parkmöglichkeit gab es immer direkt vor dem Haus. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet (Kaffeemaschine, toaster, Wasserkocher, Ofen, Herd). Das Bad ist klein, bietet aber viel Staumöglichkeiten. Das Doppelbett im ersten Zimmer war für unseren geschmack zu hart, wir sind dann für die dritte Nacht in das zweite Zimmer umgezogen, die dortigen Matratzen waren für uns besser geeignet. Dies ist jedoch persönliches empfinden.
Die sehr schöne Terasse mit Garten konnten wir leider weitterbedingt nicht wirklich nutzen.
Manchmal waren aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung Geräusche zu hören, die etwas störend waren.
Hervorzuheben war die gründliche Sauberkeit der ganzen Wohnung sowie der freundliche Empfang.
Gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hochwertig eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr angenehm und ruhig; in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Wald und Wiesen. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung unsererseits.

We (2 adults, 2 small kids) stayed in this ground floor flat in June 2017. Place is clean and modern. Kitchen and bathroom go to back of house, bedrooms and living room to street. Street parking only but was enough space with no issue.
Flat:
Kitchen very spacious, dishwasher, ceramic glass cook top, plenty of dishes and glasses, pots and cutlery. Big dining table. Dish washing liquid, paper towels, tea towels supplied. Basic spices and sugar available. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine.
Bathroom big shower and toilet, 2 cupboards. Not as spacious as rest of flat. Shower with two shower heads but leaks under door a lot. Shower gel and hand soap supplied. Two towels per person, plus some extra for floor and hands. Cupboard has some basic cleaning materials. Vacuum cleaner and mop also available.
Hallway spacious enough for kids to run around, extra wardrobe for jackets and bags.
Both bedrooms as per pictures, in-built 4-door ward robes in both. Master bedroom with night stand and night lights, little TV (German only), and extra shelf. Minor bedroom with little side table and one night light. Living room with 2 seater lounge, another huge dining table, TV and wood fired oven. All three street rooms open to garden and have roller shutters on doors and windows.
Garden is available for sole use. Another table with chairs, covered from rain by upstairs balcony. Garden is unfortunately not fully fenced off so kids need to be supervised all times.
Host lives upstairs, late check-in was no issue. Can hear walking noise from upstairs, but wasn't too bad. Wifi worked very well, contact phone numbers, restaurants and transport info & time tables available. We asked for and got supplied with cot, high chair and plastic dinnerware for our little one.
Location:
In Gruenwettersbach, bakery 350m down the hill (with take away coffee), kebab shop 900m (closed on Saturdays!), supermarket 1.5km. There are 3 or 4 restaurants here and in next village Palmbach. More restaurants available in Ettlingen and Karlsruhe itself. Good connection via car into Karlsruhe taking the south bypass, keep to left lanes on that one as right lanes full of traffic jams caused by merging traffic onto the Autobahns. Also, keep to posted speed limit, about 5 speed cameras along there.
Did not try public transport into town.
All up a very good place, nice and clean. Very nice hosts, good location. Good place to come for a long stay.

The living quarters are just perfect. Not too big, not too small. Very quiet and very functional. Very nice people that own it live upstairs so if you have a problem, you've got easy access to answers. Well maintained and this is our second time staying there!

We stayed for over a week. This apartment had everything we needed, functional kitchen, charming outside yard, wonderful shower and 2 bedrooms! Very clean, and everything was as it was advertised. The owner lives upstairs, so anything we needed was promptly dealt with. We hope to come back and stay here again when next we go to visit our daughter who lives in Gruenwettersbach.
