Walking distance to the castle and citycenter
Very small room and the breakfast was minimal

We liked the coziness of our room and the back garden. It was a handy location for where we were working and definitely made going to work a breeze due to the distance back and forth.
Nothing If I’m honest we would bring other footwear for the bathroom and the garden but that’s on us.

It was a comfortable spacious room with lovely look out. Very central and within walking distance to city centre
Only negative would be parking but not a massive negative as cheap parking 10 minute walk away. Could park to drop off and pick up luggage

quite and lovely. so close to every place I wanted to visit.

A fantastic location at the very heart of Stirling. The room is beautiful and very, very confortable, with a superb South-facing view, and very quiet despite the proximity to a main throughfare. The B&B is in a historical townhouse, so don't expect ultra-modern facilities - but Jackie's great hospitality will make you feel right at home.

great location for getting into town. 5 minutes walk from the bloody Scotland venues.
we were on the first floor and there are a lot of stairs!

Location was exceptional.
From the beginning, the caretaker was rude, disrespectful and combative. When we asked about the Wi-Fi and local restaurant recommendations, Jackie, supposedly the caretaker, was unhelpful and dismissive and remained so for the entire stay. This was definitely the worst experience in any place that I have booked through booking.com. Highly recommend that travelers avoid this B&B as long as this sour woman is the caretaker.

Location was really good for the town and restaurants. View would have been good but unfortunately the weather let us down. Room was spacious and bed comfy,
We were okay climbing up quite a few stairs but anyone with disabilities would struggle a bit.

Bathroom a little tired but nothing major

We didn't know we had to climb 3 sets of steep stairs. STEEP stairs. My husband (83 years old in 2 weeks) fell on the front stone step and had a bloody arm. Door was locked. I managed to reach the host by text through Booking and got the code to get inside. I almost cried when I saw the stairs. I got my husband up one step at a time and then had to bring our two bags and two backpacks up. Then go down to a pub to get something to eat. I used paper napkins from the breakfast room and a scarf to wrap his arm. I went in search of a pharmacy but it was Sunday. ALSO it is uphill from the train station to the B&B. I got a taxi who had trouble finding it and charged me 12 pounds.

Location is very good and the breakfast was quite good. I've been to Stirling many times and was always curious about this B&B because of its interesting door placement -- in the old city wall.
No one greeted me. I didn't know what to do. There was no information posted, only a phone number that didn't work for out-of-country phones. After a lot of tries, I finally made a text connection.
I needed the help of another guest to get into my room and get my bags the stairs. The staff seems to be using COVID protocol as an ongoing excuse to not be there. In short, it was an unpleasant introduction to the property.
It's a full flight of stairs up to the "reception" area, and there was no lift or person to help with my large, heavy suitcase.
It took a good two-and-a-half hours before I was finally settled in my room -- what a waste of time!

location
I messaged them after booking, saying our train wouldn’t be there till 9:30, but we would be in by 10:00. I received no response. When we arrived there was a half hour of phone calls, we finally were remotely let in. Our room was a double bed for two guys over six feet. there were supposed to be two beds. TV had no reception, bathroom lock fell off. No air conditioning, with windows open the street noise was really loud. Scottish breakfast, sausage was under cooked or bad

The locatation plus its view from the room is very nice. You can find a parking spot in the streets close to the BnB and you can reach the city center inculdung the castle just in some minutes walking.
The rooms are already some years old. Also the beds are little worn out. Breakfast took a while to be ready.

Fun to stay in the old castle wall in Stirling. Rooms were quite eclectic, classic, old-school BnB. Very inexpensive and efficient for one night. Paid parking overnight in covered garage nearby. Great location for walking around town. Windows open (no AC). Key pad access for inn and individual rooms was easy to use.
Lots of stairs of the narrow winding sort. BnB is one level above the street. Travel light! Check in and breakfast seemed disorganized, and it was difficult to find someone when needed. Breakfast staff was perhaps new and didn't seem to understand breakfast orders. We gave up and just ate what we got, then departed.

Location was good, breakfast was good.
Long sets of steps, no lift. Had to park a block or more to unload. No one to meet you or sign you in. Phone calls had to be made to gain access and had to leave a
message in order to get in and wait for a response. Door handle to bathroom came off and bolt to hold the door closed had screws missing and loose so wouldn’t work. Could not get connected to the internet and tv didn’t work,

the location made it easy access to attractions and main city centre
The room was hopelessly small, way so for two people. no room for luggage, no power points to charge anything, TV not working, ordinary breakfast. the bathroom was nearly as big as the bed room and it was small! way over priced. this was our worst stay in 6 weeks of travel.

location was great to be in town. staff very friendly and we felt at home!
wi-fi was a bit weak in top floor
