I like that it is situated a bit back from the main street and the city noise.
I also like that the kichen has a large freezer/fridge, oven, toaster and washing machine and most everything else you will need on a vacation.
The pool area is very nice.
This is the second year in a row I've been at the Napa Gem Suites. I don't know if they've changed who does their cleaning, but it was nowhere near as clean as it was last year. Especially the outside terrasse area was dirty and the outside furniture was dirty and worn and with missing cushions.
I also didn't like that there is no system to when cleaning arrives. We were there for more than 2 weeks and the first time housekeeping came by was after 6 days. I'd like to at least know what to expect.
And the hot water situation. Having to press buttons 30-60 minutes before you need hot water and water pressure in general does not feel very luxurious.

-Nice spacious apartments.
-Clean
-Staff was quick to respond whenever something came up.
-Huge pool, which was also clean.
-The area that it’s in is still being built, so there are some building sites around, and the roads are not in the best state yet (they are probably going to fix them once all the trucks are gone)..It’s still within walking distance of the main attractions, you just have to walk a few hundred meters on not so great roads with no pavement.
