Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting with great facilities and garden was excellent. Lots of games and dvds to use.
On arrival cottage seemed lovely but on unpacking we noticed that upstairs was quite dusty and we had to hoover round.

Loved the location and garden the peace and quiet in the evening was amazing. Right between Bowness and Ambleside for amenities. Shower pressure was brilliant, the downstairs one was a wet room so plenty of room. Very clean cottage with linens and towels beautifully laid out.

Located just off the main Windermere/Ambleside road, good views front and back. Shower enclosure was very small but the water was hot and good pressure. Patio area at the back was great on a warm day. Easy parking in front of the property.
The bed mattresses were all too hard and uncomfortable. I moved onto one of the single beds to see if It would be better, but it was worse. The duvet and pillows had a cheap feel to them - it's a personal thing I know, but next to a good shower the comfort of the beds is right up there. Some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing, and we've thrown away better place mats. The cost of these holidays in the Lakes are going up, the owners need to ensure holidaymakers don't feel they are being taken advantage of - replacing tired mattresses and kitchen equipment is a worth while investment.
