There is SO much to love about Mu! The grounds, the food, the ambiance. For us specifically: from the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, warm and attentive. Our room was ready when we arrived, within minutes of checking in we received yummy fresh welcome drinks and staff carried our bags to our room for us.
We stayed in two different bungalows, Pura and Cliff. Both are wonderful! Both have adequate air conditioning, comfy beds, drinkable water refilled daily, and deliciously scented shampoo, conditioner and soap products in the shower.
The outdoor shower at Pura is lovely. The bungalow is an easy walk to the dining area, yoga area, spa and pool but also feels very private.
Everything about Cliff is breathtaking including daily visits from the local monkey families that you can observe up close from behind full length glass walls. The bathroom: oh..my..gosh...just gorgeous!
During our stay, our mosquito nets were always magically opened in the mid morning and closed in the evening, staff always recognized us and remembered our room for meal times, and the attention to care of the grounds was impressive.
Also. the location is fabulous for a walk to Bingin beach or a stroll into the busier parts of Uliwatu for shopping and restaurants. If youre considering Mu...book it.
We will 100% stay here again next time we visit Uluwatu!
This was not a problem for us at all and we did not dislike anything about Mu, but I just want to note that the Cliff.bungalow is not for everyone. There are steep stairs down to the bungalow and the bathroom is literally built into the cliff face, so you may occasionally encounter a creature or two. For us this was amazing, but its good info to consider if stairs or the occasional land crab welcome in the bathroom might be an issue for you.

The views of the ocean are breathtakingly beautiful. It's in such a wonderful location. The pool area looks out over the view also. The staff are amazing, the food is quality.

Отель расположен довольно высоко, открываются классные виды.
Очень хорошие мыло и шампунь в номере.
Мы останавливались на одну ночь в стандартном номере с двумя кроватями. Номер представляет собой маленькую комнатушку 10-15 метров, где есть 2 кровати, места для хранения вещей под кроватями, небольшой шкафчик и все. Довольно низкий потолок и соломенная крыша. Удобства - туалет с душем расположены отдельно. Есть ещё гамак и небольшая софа рядом с входом в номер. Все уютно, и очень компактно. Номер только для ночевки, ни какого комфорта. При этом цена за номер на мой взгляд была несколько завышена даже с учётом скидки (около 2.5M рупий). Без скидки на другие даты цена была ещё выше в 1.5-2 раза.
Сама территория отеля приятная, но очень много приватных зон. По сути доступна только зона ресторана и лежаки у бассейна и у края с видом на море.
Завтраки: тут все очень странно. В описании написано что должен быть очень хороший завтрак. На самом деле завтрак очень скромный и подойдёт если только ты не очень голодный. Самое интересное: мы заказывали 2 французских завтрака, в который входит сливочное масло. Нам принесли 1 порцию масла на 2 завтрака. 2 кусок масла пришлось просить! Куски хлеба в бутербродах маленькие и настолько тонко нарезаны, что за 1 укус съедаешь сразу пол куска. Дополнительный хлеб пришлось просить. Что это? Желание сэкономить на продуктах? За такую цену номера можно было бы принести сразу 2 куска масла.
И самое главное: пляж. ВЫХОДА НА ПЛЯЖ НЕТ. Хотя в описании написано что до моря 0 метров. Это не правда. Чтобы пройти на пляж, нужно выйти из отеля немного пройти и спуститься по довольно крутой разломанной лестнице. Весь поход занимает около 10 минут. При этом на пляж очень маленький - около 6 зонтиков ( зонтики платные, это не пляж отеля ). Вокруг - разрушенные прибрежные конструкции после какого-то катаклизма. Душа нет.
По отелю шныряют обезьяны, персонал предупреждает что они могут утащить ваши вещи.
В общем отель оставляет неоднозначное впечатление. Показалось очень дорого, при этом все что мы получили за эту цену - это шикарные виды на океан.
