The Hospitale is an intriguing traditional farmhouse building with an impressive loggia and courtyard, and a covered range which was convenient for transferring luggage between the parked motorcycle and the room. The room itself was elegant and spacious, with an excellent shower and welcome air conditioning. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we were grateful for their recommendation to visit the excellent Ristorante Gastaldo across the road. Nice breakfast too.

Posto incantevole in mezzo a Sorbara un paesino di passaggio a 5 min dal centro di Asola. Eravamo in 2 abbiamo soggiornato 1 notte da sabato a domenica in una camera per due con 2 letti singoli perché non avevano più disponibilità per una camera doppia matrimoniale. Mi ha attirato il fatto che avessero il parcheggio intero recintato, viaggiando con la moto nel furgone l’abbiamo scelto anche per la sicurezza. La camera molto carina con uno stile particolare un po’ vintage, dotata di tutti i comfort: comodini, tv, condizionatore, bagno in camera privato con doccia bidè lavandino e wc. Nel bagno abbiamo trovato un set cortesia molto apprezzato e in camera 2 bottiglie piccole di acqua una naturale e una frizzante + la colazione che non era prevista la domenica con 2 succhi ace e 2 cornetti confezionati. Per cena consiglio vivamente di andare al ristorante Gastaldo davanti all’hotel delizioso a dir poco dove fanno la pasta artigianale.
L’unica cosa che a me personalmente è piaciuta meno è il letto che non l’ho trovato troppo comodo e i cuscini molto sottili. I cuscini potevo chiederli ma ci ho pensato tardi e la receptionist era già andata via. Comunque per starci una notte va più che bene.
