Well organised and equipped with restaurant, small shop, massage service and large + small onsen baths. Excellent buffet breakfast. 30 mins drive from Lake Tazawa.
The carpet in the communal areas of the hotel is stained all over and gives the idea of a dirty establishment. Rooms are very clean though.

Environnement et paysage très agréables, très nature. Onsen collé à l’hôtel super. Très bon dîner de découverte des spécialités locales.
Décoration et architecture totalement surannées ! Futons durs mais perception certainement européenne !

The property was conveniently located near Kankunodate and Dakigaeri Valley. The room was traditional and very spacious. The staff was very friendly. The gift shop in the lobby was very cute.
The property itself felt somewhat institutional. There was a moldy smell in the room, which we eventually got used to. There was no private bath with the room. We had to go down three floors and across the street to shower/use the onsen.
