What an amazing facility. Superb location for the beach and La Rochelle. The rooms were clean and plenty of space. It was lively and a wonderful mix of guest and the staff were very helpful.

The rooms were clean with plenty of storage space. Likewise, the beds were clean and comfortable. There are a lot of common spaces to do some work, relax, or have a meal. The baggage storage was very handy. The location is outside of the city in a quiet area, but with easy access to public transport.
The bathroom in the dormitory I was in was pretty small. It's how I imagine a bathroom would be on a plane. This is a little detail, but having a bath mat makes a great deal of difference. There was no bath mat in this place. Transport to the city centre stops work relatively early in the night (around 22h30 when I was there) so keep that in mind should you plan to stay out late. You can still walk or bike from the city, but that may not be ideal if you have been out partying.

clean but not enough basic hotel toiletries such as shower gel, towels, slippers...
the soundproofing is not good, the neighbors upstairs are very noisy, they make noises like smashing furniture, screaming in the morning and at night
