The hotel was small and quiet , the location was great within walking distance to the bars and restaurants

Had one day the room wasn’t serviced , so had to make my own bed. On my first day after getting back from the beach sand from my shoes was on the floor and remained there the entire time I was at the property. Perhaps some type of extra bedding would have been good , the bed only had a sheet on it and difficult to get the right night time temperature and required waking up to adjust the aircon.

Good location. Near reastaurants and some good beaches. Good enough breakfast.

We booked a room specifically because it was advertised as having a private pool, but unfortunately, it was anything but private. The pool was almost continuous with the pool of the neighbouring room, separated only by a drain. More importantly, there were external access stairs directly next to our terrace. Guests staying in the neighbouring room walked almost through our terrace to reach their room, and other guests also regularly used the stairs immediately in front of it. These access areas also overlooked our bedroom window, meaning that whenever we wanted to get dressed or simply have some privacy, we had to keep the blackout curtains completely closed. This is obviously far from ideal in a sunny holiday destination and defeats the purpose of booking a room with a private pool and outdoor space. The room itself was acceptable, but definitely not worth the price, particularly given the lack of privacy. There were also a few smaller issues that added to the disappointment. The cleaning staff repeatedly left the windows open without closing the mosquito screens, and we ended up killing more than ten mosquitoes inside the room. Pool towels were not provided either. Overall, the main issue was that the room was marketed and priced as offering a private pool experience, while in reality both the pool and terrace offered very little privacy. Had this been clear from the description and photos, we would not have booked this room.
