The hotel was lovely with great views of Mount Vesuvious and the bay of Naples from our balcony.
The rooms were cleaned every other day and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Gianni was exceptional and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted for breakfast such as boiling water for tea (Italians drink luke warm tea!!!). After the first day, he had it ready for us everyday without asking which was lovely.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful going out of their way to accommodate us. Luciano (manager) and Fabrizio were especially helpful when we needed lifts to the train station early in the morning to get to the train station to get to meeting points on time for trips we had booked.
The food in the hotel was lovely and not too expensive although I don't agree with them charging 3.50 euros per person for a cover charge when we were staying at the hotel. We ate there twice in the week we stayed.
Although the hotel is very lovely, it is in a very remote area. The nearest train station is 2kms away. The hotel provide free lifts to and from the station during the hours of 8.30am and 7pm. They will also provide lifts out of these hours for a 20 euro fee. We asked for lifts a couple of times that were very early in the morning which they did for a bit more money.

The owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough, made a fuss at dinner and loved chatting with the young gentleman who I forgot his name. Great location for Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius and loads of parking space which is free.
When pool side bar is complete, it will be perfect.

We chose this hotel as a base for exploring the Naples area, and it worked well for that. A car is definitely recommended, so the large free parking area was a big advantage. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool area was pleasant and relaxing, and our room was clean and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be a good base for visiting nearby attractions.
The breakfast was quite basic, although it was sufficient for us. During our six-night stay, the hotel hosted weddings or other celebrations on at least four evenings. One night the music was loud enough to be disturbing, and the soundproofing in our room was not as good as some other reviews suggested. We also found it inconvenient that there was no price list available for drinks and snacks, so we had no idea what our final bill would be until check-out. The pool bar was never open during our stay, even though the kiosk was there.

Sitting outside in the hotel patio was nice, especially when the weather is fine. The breakfast is good.
We expected the view of Vesuvius (following the name of the hotel), but it cannot be seen from the room balcony/ The view from the balcony is not good at all (overlooking the other house).
The location is problematic: there are almost no restaurants around, nothing in walking distance. Reaching it by train is problematic - there is no pedestrian path.
The room itself had a problem with rushing vent, which hotel didn't manage to fix or change the room.
