The room was clean and a good size for one person, and the bathroom had been nicely renovated. The air conditioning worked very well. Housekeeping was good, reception was friendly, and the barista at the bar was especially friendly and accommodating. The starter buffet at dinner was excellent, with a large, varied selection, and the main courses were very tasty. I also appreciated the welcome drink and the additional lunch offered to compensate for the dinner I missed due to my late arrival.
The room looked quite dated and was not really like the photos. There was very little storage space, the bed was tiny and not very firm, and the balcony was small and faced the back. The old lift was extremely slow. Despite the renovated bathroom, hot water took a very long time and was sometimes not properly warm, and the sink did not drain properly. Restaurant service was consistently brief and unwelcoming. At breakfast, glasses, plates and food were often not replenished in time, and the cold-cut selection was very limited. The dessert buffet at dinner was extremely disappointing. Tables on the outdoor terrace were not cleaned properly throughout my stay. I was also disappointed that the beach place cost an additional €15 per day, as this was not clear to me when booking.
