Parador de Siguenza

It’s a privilege to stay in a historical site. It’s was very clean and close to all the sites to see

The pillows which was not a standard pillow but a sausage like long pillow that was too soft and not comfortable to sleep on. Although the mattress was awesome

Stunning hotel. Very clean. Very comfortable. Real experience to stay in such an old and historic building.

There was a wedding! This is the second time this has happened. First time ruined our stay because our access to the parador was so restricted (Tortosa). We had no access to the restaurant and were forced to use, what I can only describe as a canteen, with such limited staff that we walked out after 45 minutes without service!! This time not so bad but still restricted. You have no idea this might happen when you book. You should be told and given the chance to cancel at no cost. I choose to stay at a parador to experience the whole building and its hospitality. If that the turns out not to be on offer… as promised when booking, then it is a massive disappointment. I have stayed in paradores probably 30 times and this has happened twice now! I have never been warned that my stay might be restricted by a private function…. That is not right. As an organisation you should either not compromise guests experiences by hosting private functions, or advise them with a minimum notice of e several months, with an option to cancel foc.

Like the facilities, comfortable room and nice staff.

Expensive breakfast and we had to be asking for milk and glasses (at the end, had to drink from the bottle) appreciate that there are gluten free products available (I’m celiac) but there’s no clear identification of the products and all people was taking gluten free food (lucky I got 1 package of bread) no toaster or options of eating hot bread (as it is available for non celiacs), hot plates (scrambled eggs) were actually cold too, fortunately no crossed contamination but is the history of celiacs, accepting cold and packed meals as long as they are safe. Don’t know if the problem was that we choose the 10:00 am shift for breakfast, but if by that time is not possible to keep the same quality of service, you should limit the breakfast bandwidth.
