The Parador's breakfast was lovely. They not only had a well-stocked buffet area with plenty of choices of meats, cheeses, breads and breakfast pastries and fruit, but they also offered a chance to order some fried eggs or small ham and cheese omelets. The tea pots with boiling water were served to us at our table and we very much enjoyed the breakfast.
The evening choices were not quite as extensive and, if you did not eat a full meal in the dining room, the choices for room service or snacks in the bar area were limited.

Breakfast was good.
Service was a little slow, maybe short of staff?

This was a disappointment. A great building, but felt sad and not properly maintained, the dining room had over a dozen lightbulbs failed and not replaced. The staff felt demotivated and grumpy, probably as a result of it not being properly managed with commitment..
Food was simply inadequate, with poor selection; I ended up ordering a hamburger as there was nothing else available that I felt I could eat. A (capsule) coffee machine, the only one in the breakfast room, had an old label stuck on it saying 'out of order'; no attempt to replace or repair and it summed up how everything felt. Litter in the grounds,
