Location on top of mountain hill is amazing. We had great views of the area from our hotel balcony. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Can be difficult to reach the city below. A car is necessary unless you’re okay with hiking up and down the mountain for supplies. It would be nice to have more things to do at the hotel like a swimming pool or fitness area.

As ever with a Parador, one expects and receives the best. The accommodation is splendidly situated in the Castille, where the grounds are very well kept.
The accommodation & room were as expected and views superb. Likewise dinner and breakfast.

The Duero riverbank view was nice. Comfortable beds and kind reception and housekeeping staff.
We were assigned room 206, located right next to the staff room. Unfortunately, we could clearly smell the breakfast being prepared from our room, which was quite unpleasant.
Breakfast costs €20 per person, which feels excessive considering the quality of both the food and the service. We had booked breakfast the night before, yet when we arrived our reservation had not been registered.
The service was also disappointing. When I politely asked the waitress if we could sit by the window with our pram, she initially refused quite abruptly. I explained that the table would not inconvenience anyone in the dining area, and she eventually allowed us to sit there, but the interaction felt unnecessarily unfriendly.
Overall, the experience did not justify the price and was not good value for money.
