A traditional hotel with old fashion values. The facilities inside are very good and the staff are very professional.
Whilst the hotel is only a short walk from the main attractions, it's location is up a hill that can be a challenging walk in the daytime heat. Once there though there are great views.

As it is on a hill, and I was on 5th floor with a balcony, there was a great panoramic view of the city and harbour.
The room was very large, almost like a self-contained 1-bedroom apartment.
They packed a "picnic" for me as I could not hang around for breakfast (arrange night before).
Close to the centre of town (7 minute walk down the hill) - double that to come back up.
A bit pricey for an early March stay.
That hill is a tad steep for getting back up.
Not the hotel's fault, but the flights to and from Melilla are unreliable. One delayed by 4 hours. The return was cancelled and had to wait 3.5 hours for the next.
