We loved the ambiance, the location, and the friendly staff. Suppers were very good too.
The Spa was closed. We booked months in advance and yet no one advised us that the spa would not be available. This we only discovered on arrival, a bitter disappointment. The staff member was having her week off, no replacement.
The breakfast was terrible. It was cold, the eggs were hard instead of soft, sweetcorn patty was oily and stodgy. Bacon cold.
Scons and croissants were never fresh and warm, and the cream was turning.
