We booked Hotel Jakov almost spontaneously, but left feeling that we had found a place we would genuinely love to return to.
What impressed us most was the genuine kindness of the staff — everyone was incredibly warm, friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is fantastic for families, with beautiful White Beach, Aquapark Dalmatia, great playgrounds and mini golf. The food at the hotel was excellent, and we also enjoyed exploring the restaurants around the resort.
What truly made our stay special was our daughter’s birthday. We had only mentioned it to the hotel because we wanted to arrange a cake, but they turned our little surprise for her into a surprise for the whole family. They took care of the birthday cake, a card and gifts for our daughter, as well as a few lovely surprises for us as parents. It was completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful.
Our daughter’s reaction probably says it all — she already wants to celebrate her next birthday here too.
A huge thank you to the entire Hotel Jakov team for making our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back!

Loved the beautiful seaside stretching along the complex and the lovely beach bars with amazing views . Our hotel was very clean, modern and very well suited for small kids - it was super helpful that the pool had a shallow end and the buffet also offered great options for kids. And although there were a lot of people, the huge areas allowed them to really spread out, so it didn’t feel crowded. They also have a nice playground and we were very grateful that our daughter even got a little gift package at the end of our stay. We’ll definitely come back!

The room was nice and reasonably spacious. It was great that the area with the bunk bed was partially separated, giving kids a bit of their own space.
The buffet restaurant was amazing, we were pleasantly surprised by both the breakfast and the dinner selection.
Pool was the absolute highlight for the children. Enough sun beds for us adults to comfortably observe from the side and plenty of space (in June). All the pools are shallow so there’s no real swimming for adults, but I suppose one might use other pools in the resort, we haven’t tried.
Jakov was amazing and the beach was wonderful. Outside its gate we would though appreciate if the sun beds didn’t cost that much for hotel guests (€10 per sunbed) so one can come and go as wanted instead of paying for a spot for the whole day. We tried the a-la-carte restaurant on the beach closest to the hotel and event though the environment was wonderful, we didn’t think the food was worth the money. The buffet was way better.
