Great river view from our room and the bar!
Parked our motorbike on the pavement in front of the hotel for free.
Bar food was probably microwaved but it was OK, the room was OK but no kettle to make tea or coffee although not a deal breaker, but for a chain hotel it would have made a difference.
When we checked in I paid on arrival as requested, I was given the room key card.
We had taken all our luggage to our room and tried the key card, alas it didn't work, I went back to the reception and asked the lady if she could reset it, to be told it doesn't work and she had forgot to say.
From hereon in every time we wanted to go to our room we had to ask someone to let us in (Obviously could not give us the master key to keep) really not ideal when you just want to pop to your room for anything and te staff were busy so we had to wait.

It was clean
Well that’s the first and last time I’ll ever book an Ibis Hotel. First impressions matter..
We arrive, I say ‘Bonjour, checking in…’
Graceless snap back from the young man ‘No check in until 3’, no hello, no welcome, no smile - nothing. We could leave our bags, but had to ask it was not offered.
Luckily the town is very pretty to wonder around in while you wait for the unwelcoming hotel to let you in (it’s not cheap, just seems that way).
Note there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room although the listing makes you think there are (available upstairs).
They don’t answer questions via booking.com while you’re staying there. We stupidly paid extra for a river view but our room was under the terrace so we got table and chair dragging noises still at 22:45
